The ones that spread violence and hatred for the name of any God is actually the most ignorant person in the face of the planet. Actually, and sadly there are lots of ignorant people among us in this planet.

No religion says you should take the life of another human being.
The thing is that people are easily convinced that if they do it for their religion, they are forgiven.
No Bush or Bin Laden is actually right when they make others kill people from other religions.

What actually happens in the world, and believe me I've been in London for the past 2 years and I already realized that people from different backgrounds are all mis-informed, and as they where not brought up with a mind-opening education, they don't accept things, and don't understand them, thus they just react instinctively.
Please note that Human beings do not have instincts (a bit of philosophy here which I'm not going to explain now.
I was brought up in a brain enlightening education, and I had philosophy to teach me that. Instincts are animal reactions (I'm not being racist, I'm trying to be constructive actually). Other people from some backgrounds unfortunately where not raised with the same kind of education, thus, they react more like instinctively, are easily tricked into misbeliefs for the benefit of a leader.

No. There is no evil or anything bad in God, so he would expect you to learn the same and respect life, love, and harmony. He would probably
cast you down to hell depending on what bad things you've done in his name.
If you have spread hatred and violence in the name of God, then it would be in your best interest to quickly confess your sins and repent in some way for the things you've done and for anyone you've hurt or offended.
Please have a nice day and know that you are following a wrong path to do such things in the name of God.

No, if you believe that he is a God of peace. His Son, Jesus, said that not all calling him lord will enter the kingdom; only those DOING the will of his Father.
He further warned that false Christs will appear as 'wolves in sheep clothing'.

Jesus himself set an example for this. When he was reviled he did not go on reviling. You have never heard of Jesus carrying a machine gun and gunning down his enemies, have you?

no, you don't glorify "god" by doing this.

i think that it would probably make him(her) very sad to see some of the things that are done in the name of religion.

i have never understood the way people treat each other.

yes. i think that people who do the type of things that you mentioned have convinced (self hypnotized) themselves into believing that that is what "god" would want.

Christianity is unique in that it has no provision for its adherents to engage in violence. Those ostensible "Christians" who do so ignore the Scriptures and the teachings and example of Jesus Christ himself.

(Matthew 26:52) Jesus said to him: “Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword

(Isaiah 2:4) They will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.

(2 Corinthians 10:3-4) We do not wage warfare according to what we are in the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly

(Luke 6:27-29) I [Jesus] say to you who are listening, Continue to love your enemies, to do good to those hating you, to bless those cursing you, to pray for those who are insulting you. To him that strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also

I am not sure what you mean by "self-hypnotizing", but hate of any kind does not glorify a God of love.
