There are a lot of things that nearly all people have in common. But they don't necessarily unite people. For instance, we're all human, but t hat doesn't unite us.

We all need food to survive, and nearly everyone enjoys a good meal. But that doesn't unite all people. Nor does an interest in being safe and comfortable.

But you've got the right idea. There are a lot of things that can unite many of us, even if not all or even most of us. Good question, because it's a great exercise to think of how people might find ways to get along with each other better.

I'll say Christmas. By the way, I liked your answer on my question, so I'm spreading it around on your question and others. I agree 100%.

Wanna have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD!

As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice, CHRISTIAN, card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world.

Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.

Here's the Address, just don't be rude or crude.
(It's Not the Christian Way, ya know?)

ACLU
125 Broad Street
18th Floor
New York, NY 10004

Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions.. So spend 39 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a Holiday Tree. . . . It's a Christmas Tree

NOTHING, NOT EVEN SPORTS!

Do Islamic countries embrace international sports? No they dont, with only a very few exceptions. Soccer is the only sport which a few Muslim countries will begrugedly "descend" to, because organized sports is largely considered a product of kafirs (unbelievers).
