If you choose not to believe in God (Allah) or a Creator, that is of course your business. But why do you care if other people do? I mean if someone (like me) believes in God (Allah), then why does it bother YOU? If you're right, & there IS no God, then surely in your opinion I have nothing to worry about. But if I'M right, then you might be in a bit of trouble come judgement day. My point is, Believers in God (Allah) aren't hurting you by their beliefs & worship in God, so why crticize & try to "convert" them to atheism?

If a Christian woman marries and her spouse dies she can remarry. If her husband cheats on her then she is allowed to choose if she wants to divorce.-in some Christian religions But what about if her husband doesn't cheat on her but instead does things that are unreasonable. (such as leaving for 3-4 days at a time for places unknown. abusing drugs and refusing help when the abuse was discovered, emptying the bank account and causing eviction-although he won't work, makes hurtful comments to her when she begs him to stop his behaviour and get counselling) This behaviour went on for three years before he,not she, left. He left without mentioning that he would not be back. 2weeks later he called and said he was getting help. He was not allowed back into the home after finding out about the drug use until he got clean. It has now been 4years of waiting. He is still not working, not helping support the kids or even seeing them often(his choice), he is partying all the time.

Many innocent people have been executed for crimes they didn't commit. Once the death penalty is carried out, it can not be taken back or overturned. If someone were to be killed for a crime they did not commit, then they found dna evidence 5 to 10 years later that clears the persons name, what good does it do if their already killed. It doesn't matter what evidence they found becouse they can't bring the person back to life. If they recieved a life sentense and some evidence was found, or they found the real killer, their conviction could be overturned, and they would have a chance to start a new life. Yeah it would suck being in jail 5-10 years for a crime they never commited, but at least their not killed. How would you feel if someone you really cared about was excuted for a crime they didn't commit, would you still support the death penalty. Even better, they found some evidence that proves they never commited any crime. What good does this evidence do, nothing, its all usless.

I have none of great significance, but:

1. When I was a child, I lived in a bedroom that took up the whole upstairs. I would often see a man in a WW2 Uniform walking up the stairs but he would vanish before he entered the room. (I was like 6-12 years and truthfully did not know what a true uniform would look like...now I can confirm that it is accurate.

2. In my old apartment I had a ghost cat....you could see it as a shadow scuttling around...you could hear purring in a room when you knew all the (real) cats were in another room...and my cats would always play with something invisible, chase it , wrestle it, the whole thing.

3. In that same apartment, there was one room that ended up being used as an office...I refused to have it as the bedroom, because whenever I slept in there I had terrible violent nightmares, the contents of the closet would get rearranged, I would hear crying, my alarm clock would change times and none of my cats would ever go into that room.

If christians would be more Christ like I think the world will be a whole different place.

Jesus said that the resume of the whole bible is to love God and your neighbor as yourself. And then he said that if I dont love my neighbor that I dont see, how can I love God whom I cant see.

Thats it, avoid all that theology bullshit, if you love your neighbor you wont cheat him, steal him, kill him and all those other bad things. Treat other like you want to be treated.

Another simple principle that I think it will change the world ...
DONT PAY BAD FOR BAD, pay good to those that make you bad and that will stop the evil sequel. Because if you do something bad to somebody, they would want to have revenge, and when they make their revenge, you gonna want to have revenge to, and so on, so that cycle of evil will never end, but if you when something does something bad to you just forget about it and pay with good, the evil cycle will stop right there.

Why are some christians so quick to judge? A homosexual is damned to hell. An alcoholic is damned to hell. A single mother is damned to hell. Yet, all of their sins are not supposed to be viewed any differently than someone who lies to their mother or cross breeds cattle or JUDGES other people? Wouldn't a true Christian love and embrace everyone around them, regardless of their faults? Would a REAL church not turn homosexuals or single mothers away at the door?? I consider myself a Christian, but I'm tired of judgemental people making MY religion look bad.

Rev 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

Rev 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Psa 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Psa 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Pro 6:16 ¶ These six [things] doth the LORD hate: yea, seven [are] an abomination unto him:

Jer 44:4 Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending [them], saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.

read the context for yourselves. God hates the sinner and hates the sin also. this idea that God loves the sinner and hates the sin is a half truth. according to Psa 5:5 God hates the sinner to.

In my opinion, belief in an afterlife and loving God is far too much wishful-thinking to be true.

For instance, who wouldn't want to believe in a heaven, someone who always loves them, a purpose in life?
How can you believe something that is so much what you want to believe?

Yes, there are sins and hell mentioned, but it seems a pretty sweet deal to just do as God says then you get heaven, an eternity of bliss. And even hell... well, when you think about not existing at all, REALLY think about it, eternal pain doesn't seem SO bad. And most Christians I know (whether they voice it or not,) think theyre going to heaven. Least not hell.

This is an old humorous piece showing the errors of "proof-texting", where a bunch of unrelated verses are strung together to make a silly story. Been searching for years.
