God has given His Word in a book where nothing can be added or taken away. God is not speaking to us in a voice today He is only speaking to us through His Word. He is not giving direct revelation if He did then that revelation could be written down and added to the Bible. Colossians 1: 25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Revelation 22: 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: Revelation 22: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Shrinks think it is OK if you hear the voice of God, but if the devil talks to you you are crazy. What's the difference?

I feel God! Love, Joy, and Peace come from beyond the mind, from the ONE whom we humans refer to as GOD.

Our mind labels everything. Thats what makes us human and I don't blame you. But when humans accept their mortality and weakness and accept the power which comes from beyond the mind, only then can feel the ONE through LOVE, JOY, and PEACE.

You need inner peace to understand this. Wish you well.

My grandmother apparently used to. Then again, she was deathly afraid of birds. And she even tried to buy me an alligator once. No joke.

Nope, not once. I have had thoughts sometimes that I believe could have come from God or my spirit guide.

I heard "a" voice and I would be prudent to say it was "god" but it could've fooled me, LOL.
