Think about the time. We are talkng about the end of the middle ages. Shortly after barbarians ruled. Viking Conquered and destroyed. People in General are ignorant. Especially in those days. It wasn't an intention. Religion was government. If you were not with the governement you were against it. Women were burn and accused of witchcraft because they spoke up or against.

When Columbus discovered one of the Islands in the Caribbean one of the ships was down and they had to leave some men on the island until the next voyage. When Columbus returned his men were dead. Killed by the native indians.

Now yes the British and the English could have just stayed and populated their own land but also remember that there was a major increase in population in Europe Then there were the Black plagues. which wiped out an average of 30% of all the nations populations. Now discovery of New World was of the utmost importance whether to hold the continuing population or to be free of the plagues.

There is really no telling who started the battles between the Native Americans and the "Invader" But what do you think would happen if you lived all your life free from outside interferance fighting battles with other native tribes and suddenly big ships with big guns land on your home waterfront. I would be up in arms. "Come what you came for and get out"

Remember there are three side to every story. Yours, mine and the truth. History is not written by the losers but by the winners. We only know what the Settlers wrote. Maybe they thought that killing for religious reasons was more important in those days than killing for self defense. So they turned up the noch on the fable and came up with their version of the story.

It took new generations to realize the mistake of their forefathers. It may take 100 years someone tol have a better solution to handle terrorism than our present administration.

eu and American jews originated contained in the portion of Asia around the Caspian Sea. they have no racial connection to the midsection East yet have been only converts to Judaism. They have been then pushed westwards into Russia , Poland and proper Europe by the Mongol invasion of the thirteenth century. those are the jews observed as Ashkenazi. The Sephardic jews are descendants of North African converts to Judaism. that's why those human beings have diverse beneficial factors from the few midsection jap jews. the genuine descendants of the folk of the Bible are the Palestinians who switched over from Judaism to Christianity and Islam while those religions became useful.

Because it was the arrogant nature of the people of that time. No days we would be more respectful of other peoples culture. The early Americans thought of the native Americans as savages and needed Christianity in their lives, they thought in their arrogance that they were doing what was right, but to be honest, the American natives may not have been as technologically advance as the early settlers but their social structure was way more advanced. People were meant to live in small groups, not big nations. That's one of the reasons for all of the problems in society today.

Let's blame everything on those little Christ followers, shall we?
Why did the Christians send Hurricane Katrina?
Why did the Christians send a tsunami?
Why did the Christians destroy the Ming Dynasty?

The United States government is responsible, Christian-hater.

That is not really the question you are asking.
The Christians of today are not the ones who did that. Christianity has done many horrible things in the past as so many other religions have as well. Christianity itself did not destroy anyone, that would be Christianity's followers. (French and English to start with.) They were colonizers set on taking the land and its riches-- Christianity for many of them was a good excuse to get what they wanted.

i believe this is another example were people used the name of Christ in vain, i know what you are saying i do, but what was done is not what Christ taught, and it wasn't the Indians who did the scalping either, it was the white man who scalped Indians to turn the scalps in for a bounty, even black haired woman were scalped for the money this was wicked, but part of History Just like the Witch Hunts, did Jesus not Die for them too so many innocents were Burned alive in The Name of Christianity this is not what Christ taught, He commanded us to Love our enemy i don't see any Love by burning someone alive, yes from past history the way the name Christian has been used i could see why people would want no part of it, but this is the opposite of what Christ had taught these are the ways of men who hearts were filled with hate, we are all brother's and sister's and Jesus said if you say you love God but hate your brother you are a liar. and liars will have their place in the eternal lake of fire.

Just want to point out that most of the native people who died- died due to illness. (disease and sickness brought by europeans killed more than any other one cause. The native people were not immune to many of the european illnesses)

The person who wrote that the slaughter began AFTER Europeans left is misinformed or speaking of one specific event.

Christains didn't do it, people did. Due to greed. Just because you are or claim to be a Christain doesn't mean that you live like a monk and be completely sinless. Everybody sins. Christianity is about forgivness and repentance.
