Makes no sense to me as well. So if you murder someone you just have to ask for forgiveness and it will be given to you, where do you have to draw the line, when will God say Oiiii enough is enough no more forgiving from me. I am totally Foxed by it.

The only reference to any hell in the Bible is a burning in a lake of fire which is not eternal. Once the bad is gone it is gone, and only the eternal good and truth remains. Given the Catholic reference to purgatory, many people describe or experience a spiritual "purging" process, which burns away the impurities. It can be so intense and painful, it feels like the soul is being killed; but the point is to be reborn free of the past which is purged. The concept of eternal hell was borrowed from the Greek view of Hades, and is not Biblical. (look online for Christodelphian denomination that focuses on correcting this misteaching of the Bible)

In human applicaqtion, when you stay in mutual misjudgment or conflict with a neighbor, you put yourselves through spiritual hell. When you cannot make peace after a transgression and end up in court or in jail, you go through hell. Those who cannot give up an addiction or dependency also go through hell. Only by mutual forgiveness can we begin to release from the past, recover from the wounds or damage, and restore our health and our relationships. So as individuals and in relation to others, people go through the same falling out, grief and recovery, and redemption process as what Jesus symbolizes in the Bible.

Collectively, Christ represents the break in the vicious cycle of human suffering so there can be divine forgiveness and full recovery; but each of us must experience this our own way to appreciate the meaning it has in our lives.

God will only forgive your sins if you accept Christ as Lord and Savior, and ask for forgiveness. Hell exist because God respects us enough to allow us to reject the gift he has given to us. That is why there is a Heaven and a Hell. If Hell didn't exist then every atheist would complain about that as well.

We cannot have Heaven/Eternal Life without God's forgiveness.

The Bible says "In Him (meaning Jesus), we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sin." Forgiveness can only take place if we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and Lord. Then we will be spared and have Eternal Life. God made a Way - Jesus Christ.

God is love - John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave his One and Only Son, Jesus, that whosoever believes on him will NOT perish but have Eternal Life." But remember God is a just God - He cannot allow sinful man into Heaven. That is why Jesus is the Way. Why not accept Jesus and have God's forgiveness, Eternal Life and Jesus as your Lord? Blessings and I pray you find the Truth - Jesus Christ - before it is too late.

Also Satan wants you to believe there is no Hell - but you are being deceived.

Actually it is all Christians who say God forgives all sins.....However in order to be forgiven we must ask to be forgiven (called repenting in the bible)
Hell is the place where people go who are too proud to repent or think they have no need.
hell is not a place god created specifically out of spite. He just withdrew from a place where he was not wanted respecting the right of the devil to be alone.
So because God is not in this place then it is a place where there is no love, no peace, no forgiveness, no joy ....nothing of God and nothing of good. Heaven is the abode of God and has all those things in abundance.
Hope to see you there some time.

Don't follow your line of thought, funny how you can give Heaven and Hell capital letters but not God or Christians!
I think your reasoning goes something like, "if God forgives all sinners what is the purpose of Heaven and Hell. Firstly God will forgive anyone who genuinely regrets his actions and repents, and makes a firm resolve to improve. However God cannot forgive those who do not wish to be forgiven. Heaven is the paradise of being in God's company, Hell is the exclusion of that pleasure.

He forgives all sins of those who are forgiven. It is not just a blanket covering and all sins are forgiven of everyone.

God only forgives those who respond to what he has done on the cross for them.

Why would God want to force someone against their will into heaven? If they didn't want to be with Him while alive why would He force them to be with him afterward? God will very lovingly give them want they want - to not be with Him. And unfortunatley there will be those who will probably go to hell still shaking their fists at him at the Judgement.

But I don't want that for anybody. Please go here and do this little test. www.thegoodpersontest.net

Jesus Christ died for the forgiveness of all sin, and God offers forgiveness through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Still, every person is free to choose that forgiveness or to reject that forgiveness; therefore, not all sins are forgiven because many people reject forgiveness.

Because God is holy, we cannot live in his presence as sinful beings. It is only through the forgiveness God offers that we can spend eternity with him--Heaven. If we reject that forgiveness, the result is that we will spend eternity "dead" in our sin, separated from God--Hell.

You must ask Him to forgive you. Why would someone give you a job if you didn't ask for it? You obviously don't need or want one. You must show interest first. I can say the same with Forgiveness. It is not something astronomical. You go to God, where ever you are, He is. Just close the door, get on your knees, ask Him for forgiveness and He will forgive you my brother. He loves you and is waiting for you to come to Him. Do so now. He is waiting.

Smile 4 Jesus!!

God will forgive all sins, but first you, as a human, have to realize that you are indeed a sinner. Its just our nature. One that most of us are comfortable in without forgiveness. But just because you are comfortable and happy with your lifestyle in sin, doesn't mean that there isn't something better for all of us, both here on earth and after our earthly death. One must ask for forgiveness for his sins. God will freely give it. If you accept Christ as your savior and ask for forgiveness, you will be forgiven and you will go to heaven. If not, you will spend an eternity in hell. Hell was not made for us, but you will go there without Christ and forgiveness. Hell was made for Satan and Satan alone. Please don't join him in the end for an eterenity in burning. Accept Christ today if you haven't already and join us in heavan with God.

God is WILLING to forgive all sins. We must ask for forgiveness and turn from it. We also need a new nature, or our sinful nature will continue to sin. This is provided by Christ who exchanges our sinful nature for a sinless nature as we make him lord of our lives.

Heaven and Hell speaks of rewards and punishment, something unregenerated mankind need not be aware of until regeneration. (being born again)
