Well, I think there's a big difference between being religious and being spiritual.

A religious person will usually acknowledge some sort of ritual -- whether it's praying, going to church/temple/mosque/etc., making an offering, going to confession, etc -- overall being a part of a larger group and taking part in the things that the group does to participate in that religion.

To others, the fact I belief in God, and Jesus as Savior defines it.

For me, I am not a religious person, I am a believer in Christ.

For people that dont know, YES, it is two different things entirely

'Following God's laws and teaching others as Jesus commanded.
Though none of us are perfect a true Christian strives to live by Gods standards and truly seeks to do what is right. If it is contrary to what the bible teaches then it is according to man's law and not God's. We must all be careful to not "have our ears tickled" (hearing only what we want to hear) by the deceptive teachings of men. The bible is our true measure of what is right.

The wise writer of the Bible book of Ecclesiastes said: "A name is better than good oil, and the day of death than the day of one's being born." (Ecclesiastes 7:1)

I don't usually use the term religiouse, Like Diamond D said
Spiritual is a lot better term. Religiouse just seems too man made, it's all spirituality. Closeness to God, or what ever name you want to give the divine spirit.
Evolutionists and scientologists aren't very spiritual.

I treat myself as a religious person because I know that we are all Divine...trying to search Truth amongs the hatered....trying to find peace among the wars...and trying to find solace amongst the disturbances.

As humans, we are all religious...some know it...some dont

I know Jehovah God has rules for us to follow and I put his will first in my life. So the Bible is his instructions for us to do his will and he holds out a reward...and says those that earnestly seeking him will get the reward of everlasting life
