I cannot say I would kill my son because God would not ask it of me. It has already been taken care of and I have no need to give a blood sacrifice for my religion. I can say it would be the hardest thing I would ever have to do, but I would walk away from everything I have if Jesus were to come and say it's time to go.

Your question is wasted because God has already done that for us with His son Jesus. You say that you already know that, but do not understand the meaning of what it means when God did that. Your question is pointless and moot.
I put God before my husband and sons and friends and posessions, and I do not have to sacrifice anyone of them for God, and He would not ask me to do so either. Where you do people come up with these things???
Where you do stand with your salvation and where will you go when you die should be your consern about yourself.
John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
only Gen 22:2
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

No. First, my gods would never ask me to do such a thing. Second, I would not sacrifice anyone (or even an animal) for the sake of my religion. Personal sacrifice, such as the giving up of the material, is one thing, but to take the life of another (or to allow that life to be taken) is not your decision to make.

The Sahibzadas These were the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh who bravely sacrificed their lives for Sikhism and are remembered every day in Ardas (the common prayer).

I would not sacrifice anything for the sake of my "religion." Perhaps you meant "for the sake of God?"
It's a moot point because the God I know would not ask me to do so, so if I received a "message" telling me to do so, I'd know that it was a "message" that I was mentally unstable.
People always ask, "Are you willing to die for God?" I answer, "I'm willing to live for Him, which is what He prefers."
I raise my children to love God. God does not test us to see how deep our love is. He knows.

If I had 20 sons I wouldn't sacrifice any of them for any reason. Sacrificing oneself is a personal choice. Even for the most valid of all reasons. only you can choose it for yourself.

Wow that's a tough question if you have kids. I have two beautiful little girls. I can't imagine having to give one up. If God asked me to then I would though. You know the story of Moses, right? I can only hope that my faith would simply tested like his and at the last minute I wouldn't have to do it.

no i would not....life is the most important thing and without it there is no hope....I do not think God wants people to sacrifice their children for him. I do not really love or care about god till i can love and care for myself. God cares about life most of all.
