Well that is very nice of you. I think many people feel the same about you. :) I have never had a problem with a Buddhist or a Pagan. Both groups are, for the most part, composed of really cool people.
I've even thought of trying Buddhism on for size (you can be atheist and Buddhist, too) but there's some things in there that don't quite fit me, so to speak.

Atheists have no proof of a deity therefore have came to the conclusion that you cant have something coming from nothing .... they have a point
Buddhists see the lessons in life and know that some cannot be reached in one life , that life is hard and that we cling to much to the physical , therefore we need other lives to complete this perfect understanding until we need learn no more .... they have a point
Pagans see the beauty in nature , they have had words handed down from those who have gone before , they see the way we can use and manipulate what is around us .... they have a point
Hindus feel that one God may have many aspects , that these separate aspects deal with certain aspects of life , i do not know too much about their beliefs but from what i can see .... they have a point
each person has valid points in their beliefs , or they simply would not accept their beliefs
no one can say that their beliefs are invalid or pointless .... because no one knows that individuals needs and thoughts ... we are not them so should refrain from making judgement solely on our own understanding and needs

My dear Muslim sister, Islam was clear about this matter, you are a Muslim because you believe that Islam is the right religion to follow, and nothing else, however we respect other religions, for example we call Christians and Jews as people of the book ( Holy books of Bible and Torah ) so Islam never called them infidels, and as for the Pagans and Hindus, you can pray god to guide them to the right path, and remember the Quaran :"ÙÙÙ
دÙÙÙÙ
Ù Ù٠دÙÙ" meanings :" You have your religion, I have mine" - criticizing other religions is not welcomed in Islam.

Yes, I have been enlightened by their opinion, something in which I didn't think I would have. I do respect them as well even when their views are different than mine.
My only problem is how hateful people can be....and it is the people I am talking about, not the belief.

We should all respect one another because we are all entitled to respect. I may not agree with your opinions or beliefs, but I will respect your right to believe what you want to and to say what you want to. If I cannot respect your rights, then how can I expect you to respect my rights? I do have the right to put forth my beliefs to the world, but I do not have the right to force a person at gunpoint to make an oath of allegiance. In reality, no one can force me to believe anything that I do not want to believe----people will believe what they want to believe. I am convinced that people of different faiths can peacefully co-exist through mutual respect. The problem is, the devil gets in the way of things and muddies up the water. Peacefully co-existing with other religions will in no way influence my Christian thinking---I will always believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. If non-Christians will not accept this doctrine, then that is something that they will have to deal with when they meet God face-to-face.

Of course we have points....unfortunately we cannot all see each others points of views...but in an argument someone has to be right..and someone has to be wrong...there can be no middle ground. Ignoring facts and rationale is a sign of stupidity and ignorance...and I would rather not associate with people like that.

Well, I'm Wiccan (a very, very specific branch of paganism) and I certainly believe we have a point! ;-) How sad that you've gotten three thumbs down for such a polite, respectful question.
Blessed be!

As I have carried on great conversations with Muslims, Christan's, and Catholics. It depends on each person.... Not all of one people are the same, and more people must realize this.

Oh, atheists and pagans totally rock. Especially atheists who *are* pagans. And have brown hair. ; )
We *all* have a point, right? We all stand to learn a great deal from each other and that's why I'm here.
: )
