Similarly shouldnt people converting from Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism to Islam punished by death? If Muslims dont give non muslims equal rights in their countries should we "the free world" kick out the Muslims from our countries?

There was a time when I would have been saying that two wrongs don't make a right.

But, today, I think what's happening in USA and most Western Countries is right.

There's a growing antipathy towards Muslims and a lot of American Organizations have already found reasons to remove the Muslims working there and do not find it possible to hire Muslims anymore.

Immigration of these people here is already next to impossible.

Following the precedent of the Dutch banning the burqa, it's only a matter of time before this happens here, too.

Some Country, if not the Dutch, will also take the next step of banning mosques there and then everybody will follow.

Then it's only a matter of time before the harsher steps take place, because such a move is bound to have the Imams go berserk and a lot of Terrorist Acts will take place when there will be a clamor for the revoking of their Citizenships and deportations which will, naturally, come to be.

It's a great pity that some very good people who are Muslims and do not support Terrorism and Islamic Fundamentalism will suffer as a result of all this; but then, what can we do? That's acceptable collateral damage.

It's really a very great pity though, that because of these Imams and Fanatics, so many innocent people will have to suffer.

I really wish it didn't have to be so.

If Islamic countries don't allow any religion except Islam then
they are no Islamic countries ....

believe it or not but this is the true ..

so cut it short and find what a real Islamic country should do ....

read about what rights that Islam gives to non-Muslims , and stop following what ignorants about ISLAM says...

Islam is a religion that belongs not only to the Arabs but to the entire humanity. This universal quality presents a sharp contrast with the Judaic religion, whose holy book always refers to the God of Israel.

One more thing that I love in Islam is that this religion recognizes all the prophets, makes no distinction between them and treats the believers of other religions with compassion.

Women’s rights and status:
No doubt, influenced by the usual condemnation of Islam from Christian pulpits on the subject, I picked on polygamy. At last I thought I had something; obviously Western monogamy was an improvement on this old system. I talked of it to my Muslim friend. He illustrated with the aid of newspaper articles how much true monogamy there was in England, and convinced me that a limited polygamy was the answer to the secret unions that are becoming so distressingly common in the West. My own common sense could see that, particularly after a war, when women of a certain age group far outnumber men, a percentage of them are destined to remain spinsters. Did God give them life for that? I recollect that on the radio programme known as `Dear Sir' an unmarried English girl had called for lawful polygamy, saying she would prefer a shared married life rather than the loneliness to which she seemed to be destined. In Islam no one is forced into a polygamous marriage, but in a perfect religion, the opportunity must be there to meet those cases where it is necessary.

Islam withstands scrutiny and encourages reasoning:
Instead of asking a follower to believe in its precepts just ”because” or someone asks them to, Islam encourages people to think for themselves, reflect on the signs of God in Creation and within their own selves. Little wonder then that a sizable number of reverts are thinking people: scientists, astronomers, philosophers, doctors.

As created beings who can neither grant life nor ward off death, we owe it to ourselves and The One Who Created Us to discover the Truth, to follow it and to facilitate others to do the same.

pretty good question i must say. well have u visited atleast one of an islamic country yet? do go and visit. you will find that muslims treat all the other religion persons very respectfully, and all muslims try to tell the nonmuslims the truth about islam, the goodness of islam, about the exsistence of only one god. the only country where u cannot enter is Al-Makkah and Al-Madinah, and this is because it is very holy, even we muslims cannot enter these two places unless and untill we are completely true in our religion, unless and untill we learn to respect our fellow human and it dosent matter to us whether our fellow human is a muslim or non-muslim, we treat all of the humans with ut-most respect. it is the media and the current on-going situation (so called 9/11 conspiracy) which is making you ask this question, but today if you u r self do a survey, u will find that today thousands of nonmuslims r entering islam and converting to islam.

No, we are a free country and religion is protected by our rights. Christianity is on the rise in many Asian countries, so those people need to help bring about changes there.

In violation of the UN declaration on human rights, article 18, Islamic nations forbid the free practice of any religion except Islam. The UN should sanction them.

We have a constitution that guarantees freedom of religion to all. If we begin to exclude other religion, someone will come along and begin to exclude Christianity----which is already happening. They are called humanist, modernist, which are codewords for atheists. Hate breeds hate. Like attracts like in the spiritual realm. What goes around comes around. Say it anyway that you want to---whatever you throw out to the world comes right back at you.

I resent the thought each and every physique individuals blindly subsribe to christian doctrine... and you do no longer want faith with a view to lead a ethical & advantageous lifestyles, effecting the persons around you & your society with love, admire & humility. are not the persons slaughtering human beings in Darfur muslim arabs? You excluded Iraq & Afganistan out of your answer, yet you probably did no longer exclude the genocide occurring in Africa. additionally, jointly as i be attentive to genital mutilation (aka lady circumcision) isn't a musltim tradiation, and honestly has roots in older naturalistic traditions of the middle east & africa... no count how low the homicide or rape value is in a rustic... once you're reducing little ladies clitoris off, that is f*cked up & counteracts any records that seem to make a rustic much less violent. additionally... honor killings. human beings are animals. there are various reliable, healthy, intellegent human beings interior the worldwide.... yet regrettably, there are additionally many many hateful, idealistic, fundamentalist (believing your perception gadget & way of lifestyles is greater advantageous to others) that do harm to different human beings as a results of fact they are able to. Islam isn't an inherently violent faith, neither is christrianity...yet like each and every faith, the two could nicely be abused & bastardized into autos for hate & oppression against human beings.
