Salaam alaikum

What the difference between the abreviations "A.S" and "S.A.W"? I've noticed that the prophet's name is usually followed by "S.A.W" and the other prophets names are followed by "A.S".

I know what "A.S" means but I'm not so sure about "S.A.W".

Shukran, God bless

Islam is a faith, and Muslims are the followers of Islam. Persian is an ethnicity, one frequently related to the Aryans. no longer all and sundry in Iran is Persian, nor are they Muslim. honestly, in undemanding terms a million/2 of the persons in Iran are Persian. something are Ajerbaijani, Kurd, Lur, Baluchi, Bakhtiari, Mazandarani, Gilaki, Turkoman, and assorted others. no longer all Persians are Muslim, jointly as the overwhelming majority is, it fairly is Shi'a Islam. Persian custom has mixed Islam and Zoroastrianism (The Persian faith earlier the invasion of the Arabs) to create a various style of worship than strict Islam. So...yeah. that is Persia, or Iran.

A S means "Alaihi Alsalam" meaning "Peace Upon Him" and SAW means "Salla Allaho Alaihi W Sallam" meaning "Peace and Blessings Upon Him" its just a small thing to differ Muhammad from other prophet but the meaning is almost the same.
