As Translators of the Bible revealed in their Epistle Dedicatory of the Holy Bible (the seventh: one made better from six good): the reason for translation of the Bible into english and publication throughout the kingdom (Great Britain: England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France) was because people were being deceived by Roman Catholics (popish persons) and Protestants (self-coneited brethren), who traduced and maligned Bible Translators from one side and another side.
Both Roman Catholics and Protestants published their own perversions of the KJV Bible in the early 1600s; For the mandate of Oxford University Press was to make money publishing. But the Holy Bible first published by King James was neither Roman Catholic nor Protestant, but rather it was c: catholic: universal.
To this day the sides war and blame game is played by children of Roman Catholics and Protestants: Neither of which are true Christ-ians, since "Christ is the end of the law": Romans 10:4 and thereby the "Saviour of the world": John 4:42.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.

Depends on your definition of Christian. Most non-Catholic Christian denominations accept Catholics as Christians. A very few do not.
A dictionary would say that a Christian is someone professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.
Catholics would fit this definition.
In the Nicene creed, from 325 A.D., Catholics profess:
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father.
Through Him all things were made.
For us and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried.
On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are baptized as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19, "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
We truly are spiritually "born again," we just don't usually use those words.
With love in Christ.

I a person follows a religious order such as Catholicism or any theology, they are putting that before God and that breaks God's Commandments.
There are Christians that attend a Catholic Church and there are people who say they are Christians that attend Catholic Church.
So who is to say they are or are not.><>

I would say a Christian is a person who has accepted Jesus' sacrifice to pay the debt for their sin, because after one does that they are in God's family. These people are spiritually born, or 'born again' as many call it.
If you follow the teachings of Christ but are not in his family via accepting Jesus' sacrifice for your sin debt, you are what I call Christendom but not yet a Christian regardless of what church you belong to. I personally think that the Catholic church as a whole does a poor job of helping people become Christians, but some do become christians. Praise God that they do.
God Bless

May i add that they have a belief that people can help dead people go to heaven? Which is insane besides unbiblical. The catholics(not the people, the people are the victims, i'm talking about the guys with the ranks such as the pope and priests) modify the bible, worship mary, kiss idols, memorize prayers, address priests(also nuns) as higher ranking people, and tell other people to do the same. But if you wanna see for yourself, read the bible and compare their acts with the acts that a true christian should do. All christians are equal in the kingdom of God, every christian is a preacher, minister, missionary, and pastor. Constantine, the first roman catholic, was never a christian. He worshipped the pagan sun god 'til his death. And don't get me started about the sacraments thing. I mean, where did they come from?!?!?!
What are priests for?
Jesus said, No one comes to the father but by me.
I hope a catholic reads this, this could change his life. If one does, I wanna ask, do priests/other catholics encourage you to read God's word for yourself?
Do it.

The Creeds of the Early Church (i.e., the first Christians) teach and know of only ONE Church...the ONE, HOLY, CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC kind.
Of that Church, ALL Baptized persons are the members.
The denominational divisions are all man-made. Unfortunately. All are Christians, all are Catholic, by the definition of the word "catholic" (so often mis-defined as "universal".)

The roman catholics have many problems, the biggest is that they don't teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they just say they do.
Bottom line, if the catholics are right with what they teach about salvation, everyone else is wrong and we are all headed to hell. So you can safely say that I am certain that they are wrong and the BIBLE is correct.

What does the Bible say?
Catholics call their priests "Father". Jesus said to call no man your father in a religious.
Catholics go to war. Jesus said to love your enemies.
Catholics pray to Mary as an intercessor between them and God. Jesus said that no one goes to the Father except through him.
Catholics use the rosary in their worship. The rosary originated in the pagan past.
Catholics teach unscriptural doctrines, like purgatory and hellfire.
Catholics observe holidays that are pagan, like Christmas, Easter, and Halloween.
Catholics use the cross in their worship. The cross is a pagan symbol that predates Christianity by thousands of years.
During the Dark Ages, Catholicism resisted the Bible being translated into the languages of the common people. Bible translators were hunted down like animals and killed. Those caught with a Bible were tortured and then burned at the stake.
To say Catholics were the first Christians is plain nonsense. The first Christians were just called Christians.
Are Catholics Christians? You tell me.

You know it's funny that every other Christian faith seems to claim that all other Christian churches aren't Christian. in the end does it really matter what other churches think, no. What really matters is what you believe, what church know has the truth. It doesn't matter if the world or others say it's Christian or not. Christ matters, and joining a church that has Christ and that you feel comfortable with matters, not what other people think.
