I don't think any of those books say the exact words "life is going to be fair". The Bible does spend a fair amount of time telling you that if you turn your life over to the Christian deity, everything will be "taken care of" for you.

Nowhere is there a teaching that this life will be fair.
This being said, many monotheistic religions - Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Zoroastrianism and Ba'hai - teach a final "Day of Judgement" (however variously interpreted), which will be a "fair" judgement by a "just" and "fair" God.

Life is not fair all the time, but you get to be the master of your destiny and hopefully make the right choices in your life that enable you to fully enjoy your life.

Mark 4:21-25
And he said to them, "Is a lamp brought in to be put under a bushel, or under a bed, and not on a stand? For there is nothing hid, except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret, except to come to light. If any man has ears to hear, let him hear." And he said to them, "Take heed what you hear; the measure you give will be the measure you get, and still more will be given you. For to him who has will more be given; and from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away."

No where does it say life is fair or will be. For myself when life is unfair it may have been a path God did not choose for me at that time something better in the future or it could be a test of my faith. ........Or even my own wrong choice.

The bible says that there will always be trials and tribulations.
A fair life is not promised to any Christian.

None of the above. The only fairness we can expect to see, is the fairness we give to others. We shouldn't expect any from anybody else.

In the book of 2 Hesitations 4:3 - "And I sayeth unto Him, 'Lord, wilt life be fair, whilst I remain on the earth.?' 4 And He sayeth unto me "Yea, for I am thy fairness, and I am thy life."

Much like your God, it does not exist in any book.
May I inquire as to whatever happened with the debate you challenged me to with regards to evolution? I wasted 45 minutes telling you why the human eye was a terrible example of intelligent design, and you responded by ignoring me and effectively forfeiting the debate. Your excuse was school and a lack of a PC - yet youre on Y!A all day answering questions....
What gives??

But your Bible does say that your god is a just and loving god, doesn't it?
And should we just abide the intolerance and hatred spread by religion because life isn't fair? Or should we try to improve this world?
