a christian, would he say this?

"He destroyed my son and took from my family Ron's future and life. And for that I'll HATE him always and find him despicable," Fred Goldman told ABC last week.

Or is this behavior excusable for christians?

You can always tell the true christians from the frauds. The true christians understand jesus' teachings that you forgive the person. It's been ten years now and he is still going on hating this guy. It's sad, but forgiveness heals the heart too. And forgiveness would also probably prompt O.J. to confess if he did it.

That is his emotion - and it is understandable.
The follower of Christ knows the power of forgiveness - forgiveness more than anything sets a prisoner free - yourself.
If you can forgive in your heart and let it go - the suffering ends too. You do not have to reconcile with the offender either.
I won't judge excusable or inexcusable - that is not up to me - I can tell you that I have forgiven deep hurts and been forgiven of deep hurts and it is incredibly freeing.
10 years later and Mr. Goldman is still deeply hurting - and bitter.
He seems to be a wonderful, good man.
Jesus Christ went to the cross because he was forgiving and could do nothing other than give his life in our place because of his love. That love heals in deep remarkable ways - and it is evident in the power of forgiveness.

i don't believe of he did it. i recognize he did. I watched the trial. I said the information, and that i bear in mind the blood path, which protected the bloody glove, the bloody sock, the bloody white bronco upholstery, and the suspicious cuts on OJ's palms. I also bear in mind the DNA checks the proved that the blood of three and easily 3 people were modern-day on the crime scene, Nichole Brown, Ron Goldman, and OJ Simpson. For the list: OJ replaced into extremely wealthy and were for a lengthy time period. extremely severe priced shoes were likely all he had. Why does not he placed on them to kill someone? It wasn't like he couldn't locate the money for to change them. also, OJ isn't an rather brilliant guy. a pragmatic human being doesn't go away a blood path that Helen Keller might want to maintain on with. What OJ is, besides the undeniable fact that, is wealthy sufficient to employ extremely brilliant attorneys able to figuring out on an rather stupid jury waiting to be hoodwinked into letting the Juice free.

How can Ron Goldman's father give forgiveness to O.J.? O.J. wronged his ex-wife and Ron Goldman. They are the only ones who can give forgiveness for a wrong done to them. Because they are dead, the only way that OJ could have gotten square for his crime is to have paid with his life. That is not going to happen, so O.J. cannot be forgiven. He deserves to pay forever, in this life and the next for murdering two people.

As Christians, we know that if we don't forgive others, then our Father in heaven will not forgive us.

The Amish parents of the children shot in PA showed us an excellent example of how a Christian is to respond in saying they had forgiven the killer.

I don't know of any instance when Fred Goldman has claimed to be a Christian, though, so why do you bring this up in reference to him?

If Fred is not a Christian, it's still sad that he carries all that hatred in his heart. Obviously, it's not hurting OJ one bit. OJ's been living it up ever since the verdict. OJ moved on. Fred, obviously, has not. It's Fred who went to prison and who obviously still lives in a prison of hatred today. That's the really sad irony of it all.

Who are we to judge him? As a Christian, he could find the power to forgive, but it would not come automatically. And I would not judge a Christian who had not been able to go through the process of forgiveness yet. I would simply say in his case, that he is honest enough to say how he really feels, and not act like a hypocrite.

How would you feel if that was your Son, or Brother? I never heard him say he was Christian or what he is. And I also think God understands how he must feel. True we are not to hate, but we are not saved by what we do, but what Jesus Christ did for us all. We will never be good enough to get to Heaven on our works.

I think that Christianity teaches us about forgiveness since Christ forgave us and ded for our sins. We as Christians should think before we say things like this but he is hurt and he did loose his son and I think that was his anger talking, not God's love.

I hope you and I never find out what it would be like to have a child murdered. Let's hope OJ gets his final judgement while Ron & Nicole's family are still around to enjoy it.

Fred Goldman is a self centered, pathetic mouse. He's surly the rock of his family. Why doesn't he get on with his life. His kid was banging the wrong woman. Goldman should shut up or maybe start a club with that lady in Texas who keeps moaning about her son dying in Iraq.
