You're silly. I don't know any religions that would only accept members who wear scratchy underwear, but Jehovah's Witnesses are definitely not the one you're thinking of. I have heard that Mormon's have a special undergarment that they're required to wear, so hopefully an LDS member will answer your question so we can find out if this is true.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not ascribe any significance to ceremonial undergarments, as Mormons do. The vast majority of Jehovah's Witnesses have likely never even heard of this tradition.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God,and instead of adhering to a creed based on human tradition,they hold to the Bible as the standard for all their beliefs.
There is no scriptural grounds for wearing special underwear.I believe it is the Mormans who developed this doctrine. It is not Bible based.
If you are sincere in your desire to become a Witness of our great God Jehovah,then I suggest instead of wasting your time on this site and getting inaccurate and misleading information,visit your local kingdom hall of Jehovahs Witnesses.Someone there would be only too happy to help.We also conduct free home bible studies to help newly interested ones to learn bible principles and how to please God by bringing their lives into harmony with His righteous standards.
I used to be a Catholic and have been one of Jehovahs Witnesses for ten years.Its the best thing that ever happened to me.I understand why world conditions are as they are.I understand what happens to our dead loved ones.I am reassured in knowing what the future holds for obedient mankind.These and so many other answers are available to anyone who desires to come to an accurate knowledge of God's Holy Word,the Bible.

From the horse's mouth: There is no scratchy underwear in the Mormon faith. Only those having been interviewed by their bishop and Stake President, and found worthy to enter a temple and partake of certain sacred ordinances, are allowed to wear temple garments, otherwise known as temple undergarments.
If scratchy underwear is the only thing holding you up from joining either the Jehovah Witnesses faith or the Mormon religion you need to take stock on your values as you understand them.
Perhaps you should refocus your energies on the correct dogma to follow rather than inquire of such sillyness that this question of yours holds.

What moved you to decide this?There is no requirement that you wear underwear other than what you choose! I don't know where you got that idea from but I know one thing from your statement, you obviously, don't know anything about JW's and so why would you want to be involved in what you have no idea about, does that make sense? I fail to see how! I am not saying that you should not become one but I personally like to know what I'm doing before I do it. And would it not be wise to look into things before you get into it, I know that most religions work on peoples Emotions to get them to Join , without consideration for truth, emotion does not mean truth, this is another area where Jehovah's Witnesses are differrent they concentrate on the truth of the Bible above anything, else. I know, I am one, And have been for nearly 30 years.

How silly. Do you not have better things to do with your time tonight?! Of COURSE it's Mormons who have the scratchy undergarment! And it's us Jehovah's Witnesses who eat their young, don't believe in Jesus, let our children die due to lack of medical treatment, and spend every waking hour knocking on your door to pester you! Jehovah Witnesses don't wear scratchy underwear. or are you being funny????? or cult worships mere man. we worship Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ. we live in 235 lands and in our own homes. a cult lives in one state and does what the man wants. we as Jehovah Witnesses follow the bible. www.watchtower.org. we do wear underwear but not scratchy ones. and we bath everyday. www.watchtower.org
