Most of those kids probably believed, so why? Even if it was an accident, your god still controls what happens right?

Those poor kids, and the families of the ones that have passed away. : (

Dear latter_rain,

Then we would need to ponder why Taurus graduated with high honors.

"...if a guy sticks a gun to your head and blows your head off that is his choice."

Ah, so preference of what happens in the situation is giving to the one who'd commit the crime? So would-be victims are always screwed? I see.

Go take your MEDS badkitty1969. No one is using that awful thing for anything, only you'd think of that. I just wanted to know why the god you believe in would do such a thing!

Taurus, God didn't throw the bus off the overpass.

But you know what I've found. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. I'm saddened that these people died, but God was not the person driving that bus.

What I have found is this: sometimes the reason that bad things happen is because something good can happen from it. I'm not saying it was good that the children died, but that out of tragedy sometimes positive things occur.

For instance, think back to New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina. A lot of people lost their homes and a lot of suffering happened. But there were some good things that happened. Most churches I know sent food and clothing to them. And I know that a lot of churches sent workers down there to help with the cleanup and many are still going there. A lot of people were offered homes where people would bring them into their homes (remember Craig's list?). What it did was to bring out the best of people in this world. Look at the other countries that offered donations.
This tragedy brought about some of the best in other people.

You see the evil in this world. I see what the world is capable of, and I know that God still loves people and sometimes tragedy brings about the best in others.

First, events such as that are never easy to deal with. Even a seminary trained minister must tread carefully because in that kind of situation people do not want logical explanations they want emotional comfort. Nevertheless, to say such an event legitimately calls into the question the character and goodness of God is to assume that God could not possiblly bring good out of it that outweighs the bad. That's a pretty big assumption dont you think? Can you prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that this could not be possible? I would be interested in your response.

WHy Why WHy. Well to answer that question its very simple. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe its because it was their time to go. It has nothing to do with GOD persay. It has to do with all that is going on in the world today. The way we all treat life these days, with war, people killing each other on the streets, rape, molesting little children. I mean if we dont give a crap about our lives, why should we be saved. Those children had no faults its a shame, but all that happens in life is never to be questioned. Now answer this for me, why do other's God say its okay to go into buildings and blow themselfs as well as many other innocent people up?

The driver swerved, which caused the accident. It's called free will, God doesn't control us like robots. He gave us free will, which means we mess up, we cause accidents, we kill, we die. God wasn't driving that bus, and God wasn't driving the car that the bus swerved to miss. So kids died, a terrible tragedy, no argument there. Hopefully, those poor kids that died did know Him, then they're with Him now, no more suffering or pain.

Since you blame God for anything bad that happens, do you also give Him credit when good things happen? I thought not.

God didn't throw it off the bus, satan did.
the bible says, "Through one man, Adam, sin entered the world and death followed."

Because of that satan was given free reign upon this Earth. Why do you blame God, why not blame satan? Is it a copout for you to be mad at something and redirect your anger so you fell better or more manly by doing what the culture does?

If one person would have prayed then those children would have been saved. And from the proof of the deaths of the children, no one asked God to intervene.

Scripture says "He has given angels charge over you, you will not fall lest you dash your foot against a rock."

It could be that Jesus knew what time they would die and that no one would ask Him for help, although many blame Him, so He opened His arms and welcomed them home. Makes me smile.

It was not God that did it. It is the choice of men (and of women) that makes all bad things to happen.
Someone decides to have a drink before driving, or to smoke pot, or to overpass when it is not safe, or to drive recklessly...
Certainly God received the kid´s soul in Heaven.
He is in control when you choose to give Him the control. You can do whatever you want. But you have to pay he price.
If you decide to jump from a high place, you pay the price to go against the law of gravity. If you decide to smoke or to take drugs when you are pregnant don´t blame God when your child is born sick or dead.
God is Love. You have yourself to decide which way you want to go. Don´t blame God if you choose the other way, not God´s!

It is depressing that people will come on here with the usual crap about not questioning what God does. The greater number will look at your question, go "Uh-oh", and pass on without comment. I'd like to think their god hated cowards, but it would only matter if they thought so. They will justify any evil.

God lets horrible things happen to good people. And yet, people still believe. Its a shame.

The best part about this is the Christians will have a reason for why this happened. They always have an answer. Can't wait to see this...

Maybe he's trying to get your attention. Life can change drastically in a second. Are you ready.

EDIT, the obvious answer, kind people, is no one knows why this happened. It should be obvious too, God didn't throw the bus.

How dare you use that accident and the deaths of those children to further whatever misguided personal agenda you may think you are entitled to, you ignorant, pathetic excuse for porcine excrement. YOU truly DESERVE to die in a fiery bus crash. Stop trolling for attention and crawl back under your rock.
