It is my goal as a person to accept others as they are. There are of course, exceptions to this - if they're pedophiles.. an abusive person.. a racist or bigot, but I'm done with being someone I'm not.
Had you asked me this 15 years ago or so, the answer would have probably been different, but I live my life for me now. I call things as I see them.

,,,,,,, WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I BELIEVED IN DREAMS AND BELIEVED IN, '''A WAY''' , THAT LIFE SHOULD BE.......... THEN I GOT OLDER AND SAW THAT LIFE AND PEOPLE WERE NOT GOING TO LIVE UP TO WHAT I BELIEVED .
SO TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS HONESTLY.
1). YES , I BELIEVE WE ALL MUST HAVE SOME ARTIFICIAL MANNERISMS THAT WE MUST ADAPT TO IN ORDER TO SURVIVE. ( I MYSELF HATE ARTIFICIAL ) SO I DON'T DO WELL AT IT.
2). I CAN NOT ALWAYS EXCEPT OTHERS AS THEY ARE , , , I DO MY BEST ALWAYS, , , BUT IN ALL HONESTY , I HAVE ISSUES WITH PEOPLE WHO DO VERY EVIL THINGS. SO I DO NOT EXCEPT THAT AT ALL.....
3). ONLY SOME TIMES I STILL TRY .... I USE TO TRY TO HELP OTHERS A LOT ,,,, BUT IT IS VERY TIRE- SOME. . . I AM SURE I WOULD IF IT CAME DOWN TO IT ,

HMMM - well, when I'm at work, I put on my 'work face' - but I'm still me - just more professional. When I'm in a library I'm quieter, but I'm still me. When I'm at an amusement park, I'm louder, but I'm still me. I guess the answer is no, but I do adapt my behavior as is befitting the situation I am in.
Do I accept others as they are - mostly - but I would not accept a pedophile in my home, so there are limits.
Do I try to convince others that there is a better way? Well, when I'm at work, if I find a better way to do something, I'll tell someone. I never hide that I am a Christian. So, sometimes, but I don't beat them over the head with it.

Not sure what "artificial mannerisms" are.
I accept others where they are at, as God does.
If they are open to the love of God I am compelled to share it.

Love the cat.
I share my beliefs, if asked.
If they ask for advice, I'm happy to give.
I don't understand the artificial part.
