I find that really annoying and disrespectful of others because I wouldn't just go and park my car in other people's parking stall, so I don't understand why she can't give me the same kind of respect?? What do you think I can do about it?? Do you think she is wrong and disrespectful of others?? And is she doing that on purpose to make me feel bad??

I have an aversion to hygeine. I never wash my hands and will do anything to get out of it, I never change my underwear, I rarely take a shower and I sometimes don't wipe. I'll sometimes stick my hands in places I should'nt then eat without washing. I'm rarely ever sick so I guess it can't be that bad, right? Also why do you think I not take care of myself? If you wallow in your own filth will you not get sick? Is it only other's?

I was upset and at the same time embarrased that one of my co-workers would put down her own race to the opposite race. I am african-american and so is she. There are nine employees in my department, and three of us are african-american. The rest are caucasian.

Our department's year end party is scheduled for next week and they are taking us to an expensive and ritzy place. We are all standing around talking about it today, and my co-worker said "I dont' like going to them fancy places where the food is all fancy. Just give me some good ole' country food and I'll be fine. You know black people don't like that kind of fancy stuff. I'm one black person that don't".

I wanted to interrupt her and say "Speak for yourself". Me and my husband RARELY go to ritzy places. Maybe once every year if that. But we do eat out quite a bit and know what good food is. I personally like food that is presented well. She sounded so ignorant when she said that.

My little boy goes to school with a girl whose mom has MS. She has a very hard time just walking through the parking lot to take her little girl inside. Now that it is cold and icy where we live, I have noticed that they are not at school as much. I am assuming it is because it is hard to get around when the weather isn't cooperative. Should I offer to help her? She has been to my house with her kids before, so you could say we are "friendly", but it's a very light relationship. We just chit chat and so on. Would I be over-stepping? Should I just mind my own business? It is just in my nature to want to help but the last thing I want to do it offend her. I watch her STRUGGLE daily, and I am so ready and able to help her. What would YOU do??Thanks for you input!

My mom's birthday is in like 3 days and my sister and I have no idea what to get her. She is a very difficult person to shop for. She has been saying that she is going to get a blender because doesn't eat enough fruit because she just doesn't like it unless its in a smoothie and I guess she forgot she was going to get one... i dont know. A blender seems like it is just something that you give to a newly wed couple. But I guess I can give her that now and a more meaningful gift at Christmas. What do you think?

Lately, I've been in a situation where I just want to give up on things. I can't seem to get things to go my way and it is really hard to keep running the course to a point where I want to give up. I've heard of self-motivation, but can someone please tell me how I can pursue further when I don't feel like moving onward?

It was a small family run business. Not that it's an excuse, but I had alot on my plate and took my personal life to work. I got fired. I feel bad. Do you think it would be weird if I sent an apology.

every year I hear the same thing , kids are not allowed to say Merry Christmas In Schools , adults cant use the saying , public places cannot display it ..the reason , because we may upset immigrants from other countries who now make the united states their home ..Only because they do not share our beliefs ..I am sorry for this inconvenience , but I am going to continue to say Merry Christmas to all i see , even immigrants , I dont do this because , I have no compassion to you , I do this because this is where I was born , where I live , and If I left to live somewhere else in the world , i would not expect you to change your beliefs for me ..So why would you want me to change mine for you ..Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I live on the upper story of a two family house. My downstairs neighbors are great, and I have very little bad to say about them, except for the fact that they smoke pot in the house. I don't have anything against people who smoke, but I come home and my clean house stinks like skunky weed. I smoke (cigarettes) but I smoke outside. I can't stand the smell anymore, and I think it's beginning to bother my pets too, as well as my fiance. Is there a way to politely approach this subject with my neighbors?

Steal their instrument as a joke on the bus , and when they got off at their stop, don't tell them that you have it? But of course find a way to give it back to them.

Is this rude?

I used to work for a department store that offered gift wrap, I worked in the customer service area & have wrapped many gifts & have picked up some great bow skills. All my gifts look professional. So now I have somehow become the go to girl for gift wrap in my family. I have expressed to my family that I don't like them putting all the gifts on me to wrap. A lot of times I don't have enough space to wrap the gift, or I haven't been home and they have been home & could have wrapped the gift themselves. I even asked them to wrap the gift & I would put all the bows on them. Still no they want me to wrap everything! So I am asking how can I no longer be the designated gift wrapper since my family hasn't payed attention to my wishes.

My Step-mother is introducing a "different-gifting idea" for the upcoming Christmas season.
%This being her First Christmas holiday as part of my family, we are allowing her to introduce HER WAY into the family traditions so we can begin practising "other ways" than our usual method.

Last week, each of us (a total of 14, including her family-pack) drew names; each drawing one name to buy A SPECIFIC GIFT for that person.
We (the new family) are asked to purchase Gifts for "our chosen person."
I have chosen RITA. This Rita is a business secretary by profession, a mother by family and is a distant(?) Neice to my Step-mother.
I am almost at my wits end trying to scour the local marketplace for "appropriate" gift items for Rita.
I know NOTHING about her!
%Should I opt to buy an area-wide Gift Certificate (many local merchants allow only THIER merchant G.C's to use inside their retail outlet) or should I opt to gift with stale cash? Rita is 50 y.o.
$20.00 is the limit.
Thanks.

I am a supervisor. I have not yet seen a person admit they messed up and say they are sorry and go on about their business. They tend to blow up and blame someone else or put it off on me like I am picking on them. What do I say, I busted you and you knew better? What would you do to make it go smoother?

They live above me, & all you hear them do is have sex, argue, & fight. I mainly hear the guy yelling & I hear lots of stumping & thumping. I get terrified & wonder if I should call the cops. I don't want that woman getting hurt.
