Look at Paris Hilton. Lots of money, no manners. She doesn't seem very happy does she?

A well-mannered person makes more of a lasting impression than money which only gives short term happiness.

Money comes and goes. Good manners are something will last a life time.

That is a really interesting question. Manners are very important in my opinion, but money affords you a better life in terms of material things (nice home, car, money in the bank, etc.) So I guess money, to me, is better since I could afford to hire someone to teach me manners (LOL)!!!

Good manners will get you where you need to go.

I find that people with money have few manners. But my bf is quite charming and has gotten what we need when we are out by being assertive and gracious!

For me, money is FAR more important. Just think of all the GOOD you can do with money! Help out family members who are struggling, give to charities, rescue puppies -- whatever good things you WANT to do but can't afford to do!

And while money can't buy class, it certainly CAN buy you a course in manners!

Good manners. Good manners will last a life time, money won't.

Look at it this way. Money cannot buy you manners or make you classy, but being classy and having good manners can help you get money. 'Nuff said.

I would rather have money, but I would rather other people have good manners.

If I had enough money, I could hire a good public relations manager to take care of my rudeness.
