I HATE it when people do that, ESPECIALLY with the checks! I'm USUALLY in a hurry when I'm in line! I pay by cash instead because if I pay with a credit or debit card or a check, something may be wrong with my check or card and people would get pissed with me for holding up the line! Why is it that other people don't take that into consideration whenever they're paying for something with a line behind them? WHY?!

I don't know why, but lately I'v been thinking too much about life-and my future...I want to get this man out of my head-because I know I don't have feelings for him that way...but lately...ever since I became buddies with him via myspace I can't get him out of my head...I knew him before I added him-just didn't want to add him-might get attached. I guess I want to get to know hias a friend, but I want him to make the first move, so he won't think I like him that way-I did love him...I have no feelings for him like that now. I also know, I can just let nature take it's course-to be frank I can live without his compnay-but wtf...I just am afraid to check my messages, cuz I secretly wish it was him...and I also know it won't be unless I go for it-but I'm not ready....as a friend to make the frienship move 1st. I'm so confused and fustrated. Please give me some love. ..and advice.

a self check out machine started to malfunction and speak only Spanish. on the queue waiting were this oriental couple, an american couple, and a mexican family.
the oriental guys got offended and refused to use the machine.
the cashier there, a friend of mine apologized and was battling with the machine to get it to speak and write English, but it was freezing up.
the oriental and american guys walked away angry to a cashier register checkout and while this cashier, a lady in her 60's ws tryn to get the machine straightened out, the boy with the mexicanfamily flipped and threw the broom he had at her!!!
the lady dodged it and the whole front desk frooze. luckily we have this mexican worker who stepped up and helped calm frayed nerves.
the lady cashier almost called security cos she was scared of being hit by either of the customers.
so i ask, why wud someone throw a broom at an ordinary cashier 4 no fault of hers?
arent americans generous enof to have 2 languages?

I like to know why many times I find older men seem to get very rude, sacastic and seem to always want to pick fights? I am not a lesbian and I feel do nothing to "instagate" this kind of behavior from males.
I actually had men blowing up in my face and had their fingers in my face, what is the deal with this crap ?

I'm not saying a spouse, but anyone in general; a neighbor, co-worker, a customer you are helping at work.

I can't stand this non-sense.. Is there a logical explanation for this behavior?

I was invited to attend a co workers birthday party. The party was set to begin at 2pm at a friends house. I thought it was for later on in the evening at 6pm. I was ready at 5:40pm and I looked at the directions which was handwritten by the party girl with 2pm written on it as well. She didnt give me her phone number so I had no way of calling her. I feel stupid and bad.

What is the point of being mean and nasty to people who ask honest questions on here? I get that a lot of people think its okay to be a major jerk online because its anonymous. I don't agree with that. I don't think it is ever okay to treat someone abusively regardless of the media you use. It gets frustrating that so many people on here are idiots like that. I mean, don't they have anything better to do? Too bad Yahoo won't let you choose which answers you want to delete, that way you don't have to have your answer marked up with their stupidity.

I've agreed to let someone stay in the upstairs apartment of my house. So far, she's demanded that I let her come and see the apartment any time she wishes, no matter what time it is - day or night and I must put my cats downstairs because she's allergic. She always gives me very short notice that she's coming. I'm just

Ok this classmate of mine is really starting to annoy me. First, she came in to class 10 minutes late reaking of 5 different smells of perfume. She sat down next to me and took out her makeup case. She put on hand lotion, lipstick and fixed her hair in her mirror. When she finally decided to take notes her cellphone buzzed. She decided to start text messaging people for a couple minutes. Next, she got out a pack out peanut butter crackers and started crunching away...until she decided to text someone again. After our break was over, she stood in the hallway talking on her cellphone loudly and came back into class late again. Over the couse of the next hour she chomped on her gum, texted people and wiggled around in her seat and bookbag numerous times in addition to putting more lotion and lipgloss on. What should I have done? I just sat there quietly but she was so distracting and I wanted to tell her so....should I have said anything?

By the way: This is college I'm talking about.

I have 2 girls that are girlscouts. It is below zero today and both troop leaders never obtained the permits I need to sell cookies door to door. That being said, do you think it is tacky to write up a flyer with the cookies available for purchase and ask that if anyone is interested in buying some that they could call our home number and leave their order? I would put the flyers on their mailbox. Do you think anyone would purchase girlscout cookies this way?

Yesterday my skirt fell off as I was coming back from taking the trash to the dumpster. Luckily I was wearing a coat and was between buildings so I DON"T THINK anyone saw me. I didn't realize it till I felt something around my lower legs. I had to pull it up and hold onto to it till I got back to my apartment.

I always quickly apologize, but sometimes they hang up in mid-apology, which I don't understand. If someone apologizes for dialing MY number by mistake, I just say, "It's ok" or "No problem." What do YOU do?
