To be honest, it sits in my rear view window with a box of kleenex, so when I get pulled over, the cop will see it, and I don't get a ticket. Works everytime

Neither. I was taught in growing up that you never put anything on top of the Bible unless it's another Bible or a Christian book. The reason for that is out of respect for It as a Holy Book. Putting It in every room except for the Bathroom is better so that anybody can read the Bible and learn what God wants for them.

The only thing you should read in the bathroom is a magazine about pop-stars, instruction manuals for electronics you only sort of know how to operate, and notes from laywers.
Books of such "importance", wheither they are yours or just societies, should also not be used as coasters. That's what "Home and Garden" is for. Normally, you have a shelf or night-stand or end-table on which such items can be kept out of the way of your guests, but easily available if they should (for some reason) wish to flip through the pages.

You want to know where to put your Bible??? LOL, okay...my friend whom I love as a sister wanted to learn more about her own Jewish faith. We have been discussing different theological issues for some time online when I finally got to go and meet her. I went to the bathroom, and there was the book she was reading on Judaism. I asked her why she left it in the bathroom and she said...that is the only time I sit still long enough to read.
I would go for a Bible in each room. Oh, and I think its tacky to put a drink glass down on the Bible. Some of mine are very old and delicate and would be harmed if they became wet. cal

Depends on your view of the bible... probably more useful in the bathroom, cause coasters look nicer!

The purpose of th bible is for us to understand Gods purpose. So if the bathroom is the only time one has to read it than more power to you. It actually serves a better purpose then leave it on the coffee table.

a million) i don't think of you may desire to have a bible on your coffee table if the assumption of having Christians over to your place scares you. i'm assuming your husband is likewise not Christian, so... why might you faux to be? 2) If he's not Mormon, the e book of Mormon is definitely out! (that would desire to be extra of a turnoff for him than having no non secular books in any respect.) 3) different human beings of different religions have different evaluations approximately "undesirable words." particularly, in case you have a concentrated visitor over who you attempt to electrify (like your husband's boss), you're extra advantageous off fending off saying something that would desire to be seen rude, in spite of his faith. It should not be seen a sin, notwithstanding if it may be seen rude. (of direction, in case you pay attention him say a particular word, be chuffed to apply it your self.) 4) beef is seen not kosher by Jewish human beings. i don't know of any Christian faith that avoids beef, notwithstanding if that's not something everybody likes, so once you're questioning of serving it, perchance have your husband ask his boss if he eats/likes beef. wish this facilitates!
