Very well said, my dear. Whether these people realize it or not, it is ultimately destructive to their own soul, or well-being, to extend anything other than kindness toward others. Especially when typing a response, like on here. They are having to go out of their way just to be rude. How sad!

You right. I think there are fools on this that make fun or abuse someones question when they might be for real!
They probably dont have anything else better to do with themselves.
Maybe Yahoo should consider the person that asks the question to have the option of deleting that person's answer.

Being able to delete answers would be nice. People's behavior on here is just a reflection of how nasty they are in real life. These are the people who have no friends in real life so come on here to show how sad their lives really are.

You're exactly right! You ask a good question, and the nicer ones say things like, "Who cares?", "Is this really that important?", "You wasted 5 points to ask that?", etc etc. This is not a college course. it's a place to have a little fun, pass the time or even learn something. I think the anal-retentive need to have their own place to rant and be rude. Oh wait...they do. It's the "Rants & Raves" section of craigslist.org. Great question! =)

You can report there comments though. If they are insulting or anything you can report them and Yahoo will delete the comment.
People are weird and have nothing better to do than make others feel small.
I get nasty only when people deserve it.

I agree.
There are people who ask questions, but are only looking for a scapegoat to take out their agression too; so the discourtesy is on both sides of the Y!A Q and A format.

Insulting other participants violates the Guidelines for use of this site (follow link, bottom of page).
Whenever you see posts that violate the Guidelines, click the Report Abuse link.
Yahoo claims they're improving their abuse report system, and will be more diligent and consistent in removing abuses and banning the incorrigible.

Thank you, I totally agree.
Your being honest and asking for help and somebody decides they're better than you so they make fun of you.
Those people need to get a hobby!
