Why do so many people chew gum at weddings, funerals and other important events? Isn't that disrespecting the people being honoured?

They stutter. Can barely talk. They walk like they are dizzy and they say things that dont make sense . Should it be fair that they be suspected of alcohol and drug use just like the rest of us and serve prison time if needed and perhaps pay fines and go on probation?

I am hungry for sure. I am in a college dorm.
ramen noodles are staring me in the face, but they are not mine, they are my roomates.
My lazy behind was up all night so I get my first meal around dinner time. The dining halls are closed. Im strapped for cash, and these fuit cups arnt filling enough.
Should I just go spend what little I have or ...i dunno...starve. Im hungry!!!! I dont wanna steal her noodles because I would feel guilty and this is her first time away from the dorm with me still here ...that would not leave a good impression. I cant get in contact with her to ask for food. I dont want to walk through the cold to get food.
I hate new england weather!!!!!!

I went to a specialist today, somewhere I hadn't been before. I handed over my health card and the nurse swiped it, and said, "Ok Holly ... is your address still _________________? Is your phone number still _____________________?" I glanced around the waiting room, seeing how many other people were sitting in earshot - now all these people knew where I lived and what my phone number was! Call me insecure, but I really wasn't comfortable with that. I didn't say anything about it at the time, but how can I prevent this from happening in the future? Is it rude to hand over my card and say, "Nothing has changed, please don't repeat the information, it's personal" ?

My boss is a Chiropracter. His wife is the office manager. Normally I get them a combined gift of either a basket from peperidge farm or a gift certificate for a restaurant. She is pregnat again with her fourth child. It will probably be hard for them to get out to go to a restaurant by themselves. Is there something tastefull that I can give them thats not to expensive. There is someone else in the office. I don't know what to get him either. It needs to be something appropriate for people you work with.

ok...so whats up with there being likea million guy bands and no girl bands?

do guys generally have more motivation than girls? because theres just not a lot of it out there.

so WHAT THE CRAP? i'm a girl and i play guitar but i feel like a minority.

its not a big deal on whether its a girl or guy out there.
i think its making some progress ie evanescence, flyleaf, etc but it still has a lot way to go.

so not trying to be a ***** or anything but i just want to know why theres so many guys being successful and girls are kind of a minority.

It's frustrating, year after year to rake our yard in the fall (when all the leaves have fallen off the trees) and certain neighbors NEVER do, or do it so late, that much of their leaves blow over into everyone's yards that have been raked. This is a couple at least 15 years younger than many of us other neighbors and in good health. Anyone else have this problem? If so, is there any nice way to deal with this instead of keeping it inside and being frustrated with the situation every year? Thanks for any ideas.

I'm a janitor for a large corporation and go around cleaning restrooms. They have these metal boxes on the side of the stalls for women to discard their tampons. I love reaching in there and grabbing them out and taking a whiff. I don't know why, it just feels like nothing else. I usually take them and put them in garbage bag and when I get them home I vacuum seal them in ziplock bags. (I have found if you don't they really start to stink). Anyways, I don't know if this is considering stealing b/c the women's dna and whatnot is probably still on these but i mean hey, they threw them away right? Another woman's trash is another man's treasure right? I'm not sure why I keep all these...i guess i'm just a pack rat.

I bought the cheapest hockey game tickets because I simply can't afford hundreds of dollars for better seats. I'm not an avid hockey fan, but I really wanted to experience the game in person. If there are better seats that are empty, is it okay to move? Would there be any negative repercussions if I do?

I asked this girl to give me a lap dance. I offered her $500. She had to growl like a pirate, break my beer bottle, and plunge it in my eye. Would you do it? Why wouldn't she do it? Is there something wrong with me?

Alright, so I babysat this neighbor's cat a few weeks back, and the daughter (my age, and in colorguard with me) gave a few things she bought for me on their trip. Among them, was a carved stone in the shape of a heart, and a light blue color. Nothing meant by it of course, as she is straight, and I'm currently dating one of the same sex. At the time, I didn't even think about it - I just simply accepted the paper bag, and thanked her. So yesterday I was looking in the bag, and saw the heart, and was like, "Amber would *love* this." I mean, she's crazy about light blue stuff, and the heart represents my feelings. And I've been looking for something for Christmas, and she isn't the easiest person to shop for, but I know she'd absouletely adore this. My question is, would it be proper to give it to her? I recieved it as a thank you gift, but I do not believe the girl I recieved it from would even know or care, but I would like to know if it'd be *proper* for me to give to another
