If you girls did not mind, why are you out in full force, claws and fangs bared?

All of you appear sensitive and sensible. It is just a question, but the first few answers showed that if the train of thought continued, it would be like, 'you creep, what do you take us for'.
Its good that you don't believe in name calling. Neither do I. But why object so vociferously? Either you are thin and don't like, or you or not thin and don't like it, or you don't want to be associated with the idea. Which is it? Why react it a name just because you are expected to? In school they called me 'whitey', I mean I am white, so what new were they telling me. I understood that, but still picked fights because you are supposed to at that age. Am I making sense? I hoped by asking this question and the reactions I could see how people generally saw these things.
Again I do not like name calling because I don't care much for them. Like one of you down there says, 'two wrongs don't make a right'. An angry retort is just not the answer for a label.

Back in my day men where, dogs, slackers, perverts, low life's and gross..
Such terms of endearment should not be taken personally. Unless I know you personally and the name applies.
Having said that women were called bitches, whores, trash, c.u.n.t.s and scum.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but word's can never hurt me...
Don't walk that walk and talk the talk and you'll save being labeled...

The reason why women are called birds is because of the worms they pick up, so I think that it is ok for girls to call guys that - on the other hand, guys give girls much nastier names than what you suggest, so I will go with what you say as it is a nicer way of being horrible. (but in most senses girls are stick insects nowadays YUK!!!! too much influence from the media)

Before you retaliate, you might want to think about why the girls are calling you worms, creeps etc. And yes, go ahead, call us stick insects, I just thought guys your age should have grown out of it quite a number of years ago. We sure did.

The only time in my life when this happened was in Junior high...
they are not emotionaly ready to have a close loving relationship so they project onto the other sex all manor of flaws to avoid seeing their own flaws. Sometimes girls can be like preying mantises...and the Queen in wonderland...off with their heads.!.

If they are thin, why not?
Keep in mind, girls only call the persistant, harrassing, and stalking guys creeps. Not the good guys.

Uh, what kind of a question is that? If you feel the need to insult somebody, just call them whatever you want, although it seems unwarranted in this situation.

what smart guys do is be loving in a unsexual way. Those are the ones who get the rewards them and the bad boys who seem like fun.

You can call them whatever you want, but if you are a polite guy and just want to help out and they call you a worm out of no reason then don't say anything, don't sink to their level, they are spoiled brats that aren't even worth your time.
