I'd go down to the truck, check for survivors, take their guns and then load the $ in my car and take off...call 911 from a payphone.

Should I stop listening to my mp3 player when I'm at meetings?
I never seem to miss anything... just watching people is more fun than listening to them!

Theres always a queue at the ladies loo in pubs/clubs because they all need a 'private' trap each, whilst men are quite happy to stand in line side by side & get on with it...........Did you know that there are now urinals for women so now they too can nip in and out quicker..........maybe not so private but would cut the 'standing crossed legged ' time down .......... Anyone seen one / tried one ?

recently in san diego laws have been passed making it illegal to smoke at our local beaches. i personally do not smoke and although i am not usually bothered by second hand smoke at the beach... i am bothered by the cigarette trash that leaves the beaches looking like a huge ash tray. if it were not for those who consider the beaches a place to leave behind their garbage i would not care one way or the other if folks wanted to smoke at the beach.

I'm playing the violin in and for the reception of a friend's wedding, and I was wondering if it would be okay to get my hair sort of done. Not a fancy updo, but just sort of maybe a twist or light curls?

I swear, I ask "funny" questions on this site to get a laugh and maybe make someone else laugh too. Then this stupid guy responds to my questions with things like "your questions are so stupid and they gross me out, thanks for the 2 points" I was like "screw you!" If you don't like someones questions, then don't friggen read or answer them, simple as that, you don't have to go off and be a complete jerk!!! Why the heck are people like that? It's so stupid!

I work in a semi-casual office setting with 5 other women:1 boss, 1 secretary, and 4 program planners (I am one and one is African Am.) I am a recent college grad & the youngest by 20 years but I have more education than some others.
The secretary is an older woman who is a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy. She has said some things in passing referring to "those people" about other races. Usually I would call a person on those things, but I am the new girl and she has been there a long time and really runs the office day-to-day so getting on her bad side didn't seem worth it at the time.
Yesterday though, she flat out said to me "I don't really like black people" and I was so shocked to hear someone say that so plainly I didn't say anything at all.
My boss & the African American woman either ignore this or are unaware of it.
So should I say anything to anyone or ignore it?
She obviously isn't going to change her ways this late in her life but it still bugs me.

It is 3 days before the wedding. I have run out of funds to continue to be a part of it. Should I let the bride and groom know about my situation and bow out of the wedding or not?

They provide too many forks and spoons.I am not familiar with using these things.I think even holding it advertises yourself to others. Most of the times I note others staring at me and sniggering.Eating fish is the most difficult part.Should I eat it before meat. And, why cant I gulp down wine and water.Recently, when I asked for water, even the waiter looked a bit stiff.

I find it extremely hard to comprehend some of the questions. Firstly because of the spelling, Secondly the grammer and lastly the phrasing. Is there a reason for this?

Ok, forget the "kind of" part....I have a heavy southern accent. I want to get rid of it. I'm an intelligent and thoughtful person and would like for my voice to echo that. Any ideas on how to improve my speech? Thanks!

My girlfriend enjoys introducing me to seemingly everybody she knows, which is fine with me. With her grandmother and stepmom, I usually greet them both with a hug and I kiss them on the cheek out of politeness and respect. However, with everyone else, how do I know when a handshake is sufficient or if I should go the additional step? Is there a definite answer or is it just situational?

Keep in mind this is from a relationship and personal perspective, obviously, etiquette changes if a professional meeting, etc.
