Theres always a queue at the ladies loo in pubs/clubs because they all need a 'private' trap each, whilst men are quite happy to stand in line side by side & get on with it...........Did you know that there are now urinals for women so now they too can nip in and out quicker..........maybe not so private but would cut the 'standing crossed legged ' time down .......... Anyone seen one / tried one ?

I used to have season tickets for a theater company which played in an auditorium with urinals in the women's restroom. There was always a huge line during intermission for the women's. One year at the beginning of the season they announced before the show that the restrooms would be remodeled, including removing the urinals and putting in toilets. There was a HUGE applause.

I have actually seen an internet site that teaches women how to urinate while standing, but have never tried it myself. We're really not configured to make it easy.

I tried a female urinal. It was rather strange, when i first saw it, i just stood for awhile to figure out what it was and how to use it (it looks really weird).

But I don't think it saves an time, plus not all people can hover with there knees bent and stay balanced.

I did not like it that much. I don't mind the 'squat' toilet in Asia, as long as the toilet is kept clean and dry. At least that way you don't have to make 'contact' with the toilet

I stand up in public toilets anyway. You never know what you could catch off these things.

Theres always notices on the door about diseases...yuk.

I don't think I could wee in front of someone else though. My days of going in pairs to the toilet are long gone now.

I'll queue like everyone else x

The process of having a wee is different for women, or hadn't you noticed? We have to partially undress and sit down - men can just unzip and continue to stand. I for one would strongly object to pulling my knickers down and squatting in front of other women! We need out privacy, thank you!

If something weird happened and I woke up one day a woman - i'd be demanding a female urinal! No way could I handle waiting in those long lines.

I found your question intriguing......
Haven't seen one; hadn't even heard of them. But found these links: http://www.restrooms.org/urinals.html and http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/music/3816715.stm
This one seems the more practical:

For people who have a hard time sitting on the low toilets usually found at airports, this would be the perfect solution.
Thanks for asking the question. It made me go looking for a solution.
