There is a spell check on my screen, i am pretty sure everyone has it. I swear some questions I don't even know what is being asked.

Easy to critize there silly blonde one. Next time don't forget it's "can't" and not "cant" , ok?

Well, why don't you ask yourself that question since you obviously can't spell either and clearly didn't use the spell check?

There are so many reasons why people can't spell. Some are still learning the language, spelling just isn't the strong side of some people, some are lazy, some are dyslexic and some simlpy don't care.

When I see a question that is so badly spelled that I can't make any sense of it I usually just ignore it. And I think it's silly how so many people complain about spelling mistakes in questions instead of actually answering the question. What's more important, the content or the spelling?

There is no spell checker on my screen..or if it is it is not very user friendly. I certainly cannot find it. I do not use Explorer, maybe that is why. Spell checkers are not 100% fool proof ( did yours not suggest can't instead of cant in your question ? ) Also, be be mindful that not everyone on here speaks English as their first language. Many non European languages do not place a great deal of importance on spelling. Communication in a second language is an achievement that should not be sneered at if it is not 100% perfect. I could not begin to contribute here in Spanish or Hindi could you ?

I think that as a point of (n)etiquette one should not comment on individual slips in spelling and grammar ( though I know your observation and question is general ). It's kind of against the spirit of what the net is all about... people of different background and cultures, sometimes with limited access to traditional forms of education, being able to communicate freely.

I think that people often make spelling errors even though they have the Spell Check feature available because they are either lazy, careless, or in too much of a hurry to bother with it.

Most people can't spell. It is just easier to type more stuff when you don't capitalize. Many of my questions/answers have improper grammar, punctuation and capitalization.

Because they are so sure that they are right and the spell check is wrong, and if they are that stupid, they are also probably wondering why the keyboard is not alphabetical.
