Just smile, if someone is trying to impress you it means that they are impressed by you. Don't laugh if it's not funny otherwise they will think that you are on the same level.

An "Oh that was bad"... or a moan is okay so long as you act slightly amused... Inappropiate off-color jokes of course should be admonished.

Why do you feel you have to say anything...unless his jokes are in bad taste and is hurting another person, then you can intervene.

Don't say anything. Just don't laugh at thheir jokes and give them and ugly look that says, "I feel sorry for you."
