I think the ceremony will be somewhat traditional....What is a respectful color to wear, as a guest? I thought I had read somewhere that colors were significant (funerals, etc.) and I would like to honor her family by wearing the right color, if there is such a thing!! Any other customs that I should be aware of?

People often point out others' rudeness (such as comprehending others' looking out of curiosity as "staring") with excessive scowling, but can that be translated into pointing out another's mistake? Isn't that rude?

I just recently got 99% on one of my homework assignments, and frankly, I surprised myself. I didn't know I could excel in school when I was a little girl. Is it wrong that I told parents and my hubby about it right away because I was so proud of myself? Should I have kept it to myself and been humble about it?

He also shoots our animals with pellet guns.We have had to have 3 animals put down.
He also shoots my yard decorations full of holes!
The police say i have no proof,so they can't do anything!
I know he is so evil, that he has cameras all over his house to see if anyone tries to get even with him. What is a good way to fix his little red wagon?

I'm a junior class in the Bethel Bible College right now, its a Pencostal A/G school, I was somehow upset by my college prexy apprenhinding me while having my lunch, - my respond would be the rule of Baptist bible school is that 'no speaking in tongue in the school campus'. "Filipinos don't eat like pigs"?!

work on Saturday (which he normally has off). That means he won't be ready to go until at least 6:30. The wedding is at 3 and the reception starts at 5:30. Would it be alright if I went without him and took my daughter as a fill in until he arrives? I hate going places like that by myself but it's the only thing I've had to look forward to all summer and I even bought new clothes for it. What is the proper etiquette in this situation? My daughter is 15 and said she'd do it for me.

I always do, just because you learn so much about the person. People only give you the perception they want you to see of them, when you see or hear things you're not supp, you find out more...sometimes good, bad, or shocking...

Besides the obvious two way:
Saying someone's name in casual conversation and
Dropping someone's surname
how else can you drop someone's name?

And don't even say write their name on something and drop it, cause that's just stupid.

I just wanted to say I've been loggin into this place for a while now. And of the whole darn internet places to be I enjoy this place because it's the only place I know that people from every where can just be themselves and speak their mind wether being goofy, mean or serious, it's just a fun place to hang out. That's all. Later!
