Someone keeps sending me emails, sometimes chain letters, sometimes real letters, I don't read the stuff that is personal, but what should I do so that person won't assume that their friend is blowing them off?
I plan to send them an e-mail notifying them his.
What should I tell him/her?

This is definitely not a spammer - just a girl who wants to keep her friend up to date on all she done during vacations, etc...

You should tell the person

Mr or Ms,

I just wanted to inform you I am not your friend that you have been sending emails to. You have been emailing the incorrect person. Thanks for understanding,

The Person whom has been recieving your mail.

And if after they keep writing spam and block all emails and report them!

I would and have sent a very brief and polite email telling them that I am not aware of who they are, and that they have my email confused with someone else's. It stopped the problem, and they even sent me an email thanking me and apologizing. They were embarrassed about some of the content, and were very glad I let them know so they could correct the problem.

See if there is a way to block them or mark that email as spam - sometimes these kinds of emails can be a way to give you a virus or get your info if you reply to them - so see if you can do either of the above first or keep ignoring it.

Just tell him/her that you are sorry but you think they have made a mistake with their friend's email address. You are not being rude by doing so and if they feel any embarassment by some of the things they have sent you, they will get over it. Atleast you are letting them know instead of just reading them and deleting them.

Well are you sure they're personal? Spammers love to make emails look personal to get you to click, with subject lines like: 'pics from last week'.

EDIT: FORWARD THEM TO ME LOLOLOLOL HAHAH!!!!!1

I wouldn't worry about it, just delete them(without opening them) that's what I always do.

best thing would be to block her just incase it's someone trying to send you a virus.
