A friend told you they loved Jesus but says the word G-D, goes to bars a lot although doesnt drink excessively, has premartial sex, and doesn't go to church that you know of??

I couldn't care less about these actions. I'm friends with all types of people. I just found it strange and didn't know if many religious people are the same way?

The question I asked about what was the most ludicrous misjudgment you had suffered in R&S got a violation notice and deleted. I was trying to make the point that we all have been victims of judgmental attitudes regardless of belief/nonbelief. For all you people who took the trouble to answer--I judge you're just lovely! :)

okay so i like this guy that goes to the penetcostal, we talk all the time but arent official and ive been going to penetcostal for 7 or 8 months now... i wnat to switch to city bible church. because i dont believe what they teach iw anna b a better christian and am afraid i cant do that or grow with god in that church cause wearind skirts is not comfortable for me and if i wear pants to work or soemthing i feel bad.. and scared someone will see me. but i think its no ones right to judge a person. if a person believes something they do if they dont they dont. what shoul di do???? should i tell the guy.. This is for a "guys" stomach...to sit back and watch a good movie...the ole lady won't be home tomarrow...i'll have the remote to myself....(and, i got a lot of "movies!")...and the couch!

Often, when I am sitting at my lunch table with my friends (6 counting me) some random person will walk up to me, and tell me that some girl (that I have never seen before) at another table likes me or wants my number or some such nonsense. I tell them to go away and stare at them funny, but i still don't know why this has happened so often to me.
And while i cant speak for other lunch groups, in the area where we it lunch, it is me every time.

Any advice for how i can handle people when they do this, and any explanation behind their motives?

Are their prophets on the earth today?
If not, why not?

Is God's true church on the earth today?
If not, why not?

Does being the same mean doing all the same things or simply being consistent in nature and character?

Parents treat different children differently and give them different instruction according to their different needs. If God does likewise, would he fail to be the same yesterday today and forever?

If miracles, prophets, gifts of the spirit, etc. occurred in biblical times, must they also occur today in order for God to be consistant and "The same?"
