I found my lover, best friend and soul mate in 1957. Together we I have lived our life by the goals we set.
It was 8 years ago that we crossed off the last goal that we listed. It felt soooo good to have accomplished all of our goals.
Both retired, living a simple life and yes, it has gone beyond what I ever dreamed it could be.
I truly love life, but I would do just about anything, to be able to get up and walk out of here and go dancing with my husband, just one more time.

Never reached my goals because I never set any. However, now that I am where I am at, I can barely keep my head above the level of a teaspoon. But I cannot change my position now unless I truly do win the lottery and I have a better chance of being struck by lightning, then a bus, then a tank before that will happen.

It's not so hard to emigrate, there are countries in europe that you'd be entitled to stay without a visa. You can rent quite cheaply as well depending where you go. To support yourself in an actual job you;d need some skills check that you have word, powerpoint, excel etc as the basics, there is work you could do online but you'd need to look into that. As for your depression you need to try to do a little more each day and keep looking forward, write it all down then rip it up - shout gone, done with as you do it.

I have never set goals for myself and it's a good thing because I would be a disappointment to all. As I get older I now struggle to do the things I was able to do with ease years ago. Therefore I'm trul over the hill and every day I'm able to do what I could yesterday is a good day.
Don't ever get old.
Don't ever get old.
Live hard, die young, and leave a good looking corpse.

I've managed to reach retirement, I am still alive and in good health, IWe are financially ok, my husband, children and grandkids are fine, so life is good. As for my spiritual goals, I am still on that journey, and will be for the rest of my life. I don't have a goal for that, the journey is the destination for me.

I have experienced many failures & successes in life. I don't dwell on the failures because my successes outweighed my failures. That is what has kept me focused on reaching my goals in life & going beyond my life's goals, has been an added bonus.

I am very satisfied with my life but I keep making new goals so I don't get old. I want to take some crafting classes so when I am really old I can sit and do something to keep me entertained.
