A friend told you they loved Jesus but says the word G-D, goes to bars a lot although doesnt drink excessively, has premartial sex, and doesn't go to church that you know of??
I couldn't care less about these actions. I'm friends with all types of people. I just found it strange and didn't know if many religious people are the same way?

I've known people like that. They just don't feel compelled to follow all the rules, because they see lots of them as being man-made. And after all, there have been Christians who thought it was wrong to play cards, go to the theater, or dance. Would you find it strange if your friend did any of those things, too?

I would definately find it strange; the actions don't match up with the words!
Of course, if the "Jesus" this friend of yours has a Latino last name (instead of "Jesus the Christ"), then that would explain a lot.

That's where they are spiritually you need to grow in the spirituall part of your life.If you do not feed your body it shrivels up and dies,that's how it is with a person who believes in Jesus they can believe and love him but not make him lord of their lives.I still struggle with certain things that I know I'm not suppose to do as a christian,someday i will gain strength in these areas.Just don't be his judge.Shalom
