Take some time, dear one, to do your research before asking such a question. Most of the cities mentioned in the Bible have been either excavated and found, or are still inhabited. NONE of the cities in the Book of Mormon have been found. Even on the Hill Gamorah, where 1 million people died in battle, not a single artifact has ever been unearthed...even though that battle was so much more recent than the cities in the Bible! Even Roman coins were found in one excavation in the Holy Land, showing that SOMEONE had been there. You'd think that on the Hill Gamorah, they would at least have found parts of swords or SOMETHING from 1 million people!

I wouldn't call the Book of Mormon "silly," however, I would call it a deception.

God bless!

The way it was compiled is a bit less silly, but the contents are the same.

I don't know about the origins of the Bible for certain, but the book of Mormon was written by a schizopenic. That's been proven. Guess that's why Mormonism is so fun!!

The book of Mormon can easily be discredited by archaeological and DNA evidence. The writer of that book supposedly got it from plates of gold that no one else saw.

The Bible is the TRUTH. The BOM is the writing of a man. The Bible clearly states men were inspired by the Holy Ghost to write the Bible. The BOM writer doesn't claim that. The Bible says there is to be nothing added to it or taken away from its contents. The BOM claims to be "Another Testament Of Jesus Christ".
