What is your imput on dinossaurs and how the world was created and why would Jehovah need a witness? Why is your religion called The Jehovah's Witnesses? Sorry, it is just that I have an assignment from school that we are supposed to write about the difference in religions and I got enough on all religions that I can think of now a days but I don't know much about yall's so plz tell me? Why are people leaving comments instead of answers? If you don't know the answer or don't want to answer then don't. Just because you opened up the question doesn't mean you automatically have to answer it. Also, what may be an easy answer for some, is not an easy answer for all. Please keep that in mind as you leave you smart *** comments. If I knew the answers to my questions, or if I thought they were easy, I wouldn't be asking them. Last thing, I'm really not looking for an answer to this question, I just want the people who answer these questions to try not to be such. . .jerks. =)

Many of my friends are going ot church events with me. Some are Catholic, others are atheist. I go to a Protestant Church, so it is very different than what they are used to. It is amazing to see what God is doing in their lives and my life.

I've met girls with laughs that are annoying/obnoxious enough that I don't think I could date them based on their laugh alone. I am not a shallow person either. It would just drive me insane though, I could never listen to that on a day in and day out basis. My questions are - can they control this? Do they know their laugh is annoying as hell? If they do, can they change it or are people's laughs like their height and whatever they're given at birth they're stuck with?

I live in Northern California and my two year old is excited by all the Christmas lights she has been seeing at the stores. I want to know if anyone has any suggestions for places to go up here that have good light displays. Our neighborhood is not festive at all.

what does it mean to “see” Jesus as Son of God?

what is the difference between Jesus healings and Jesus miracles? if i was to make a comic strip about one based of the bible (not necissarily a funny strip) then how would I differentiate the two?
and
can anyone tell me Gospel verses in their opinions that addresses how Jesus claims to be the divine Son of God. After each verse, include a brief response as to what is meant by this Gospel message?

Yesterday I bought a box containing 20 magnificent " Kensington Pride" Queensland Mangoes for Aus$17.00 at the supermarket. I figure all my Christmas' have come at once.

I know watermelon is in season in a week or so.. and soon it will be Aus $0.50 kg

And I have fresh stone fruit - cherries, peaches, nectarines, delicious apricots.. and grapes... all in season and oversupplied in abundance in the shops. I love this time of year!

My mom is very religious, and I love that about her, but I've lost my faith, in anything. I have been informed I am agnostic. But my mom doesn't know. She still thinks I am a Christain. I'm not mad or anything, it's just I'm a little uncomfortable about it. Should I tell her about my lack of faith, or should I keep her in her little world? I don't want to hurt my mother, please help.

from reading many, many, many answers here, i know that there are many atheists that have read the bible, if for no other reason than to "know thy enemy". & have tried to read the bible to try & gain an understanding of christianity & a stepping stool to learn other religions too (i would like to read as many different "holy books" as possible, & so why not start with what i have right available now). & so i've asked what is the best way to read the bible before, but the answers christians gave, did not sooth my soul, so i will ask the opinion of those who do not care much about the scripture how to read it.

Are you to give charity through your mosque or other Muslim charities, or do you discharge the obligation of charity any time you help a person, such as giving food to a homeless person? I guess I'm wondering if there is a specific structure to your charity. Thank you.
