Your question is an argumentative one.
Religions differ. But people do not argue and insist upon
that their religion is the best.
They don't change their religious beliefs or get converted to some other religion by conviction. It is very rare..
They consider their religion as the best, because they were born and brought up under cultural & traditional
guidances of their parents whose religion becomes
the religion of theirs' too...

I dont think you will find any one who will say that there is a better religion than the one they believe in. To them their religion is sacred which just creates a false ideology of the world their in, though i am not a religious person(as you may have noticed), i am not insulting religious people however as religion can benefit peoples lives, especially in life crisis by providing them with a support network, sense of hope that things will get better in their lives Every religion out there is in conflict with one another, they only see themselves as worthy and most distance themselves from wider society.
No religion is better than another, there is not one religion in this world which introduces consesnus and harmony in society.
Religion can be very comforting for the individual, but how is it benefiting society as a whole?
I believe that religion plays a part in seperating the members of our society, creating conflict.
All of the wars going on around the world have religion right at the centre of them.

Every one thinbks so. ,Every one thinks that he/ she is the most beautiful being in the univrse. any one would love his/her mother much more than anybody else ,even if she happens to be the worst porstitute in the world .People born in a particular religions would also feel like that only.
Only some one who dose not belong to an religion can consider the comparativ merits of religions without bias .People might be saying that all religons dpeak of the same God .It is just like sayig that all men are the same .It is not .the characteristics of the Gods speak of is differing very widely consistent withe culture of the persons who speak of thier Gods.the God's clash because of their different cutural backgrounds!

But do you realize that, there are more people from Hinduism who like to call themselves that they don't follow any religion. They claim there is no god (mainly Hindu god). They dare not come forward and say there is no god in a muslim or christian gathering. This is like a dog chained inside a house/fency barks the most.

Because to them, it is the best religion. I know I'm probably begging the question here, but it's true. People follow certain religions because those religions give them the most comfort and satisfaction.

If we didn't think it was the best we would be in some other religion that we thought was.

Ugh, I know... this is something that's on my mind right now. It started when I read the most recent article I did about the Golden Compass. Don't even get me started!!
What really bothers me is how no one seems to question their beliefs. How do you know what you believe in if you don't put it to the test? Challenge other ideas?
I don't know why people won't budge from their own religion. Why no one else can have a religion but them.

If they thought another religion was better they would change to it.
This makes as much sense as asking someone why they think their favorite color is the best.

Because that is what they are being taught at their church service. I have stepped outside of the box and researched all the major religions, they are all great in their own way and of course they each have their own flaws. Most religions are the same though, their is only one God and he sis just worshiped differently.

Would be pretty lame if I said I belonged to a religion and said it was the worst, wouldn't it? And if I didn't think my religion was righteous and correct, why would I belong to it?
