check out the website www.lds.org and they have information about the religion. Missionaries will meet with you and invite you to attend lessons and also church. Church meetings are very fulfilling and loving (I love the singing). It is a very family-oriented religion.

On the contrary to the above - the church is: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They use the Kings James version of the Bible, like other christians as well as the Book of Mormon. Just check the website...and check out the Articles of Faith!

Take the discussions w/ missionaries, set date for baptism, repentence, baptism, receive Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands, confirmed a member of church, then you repeat lessons 1-4 again to review covenants you just made. You are now an LDS member! I don't think I forgot anything.

Any one is interested can meet with the missionaries, who will discuss the basic teachings of the LDS church and help you to recognize the Holy Ghost bearing witness of God's truth. If you desire to join, they will help you, but basically you are interviewed to make sure you are worthy/ you have repented of your sins, then you can set up a time to be baptized, and you will be confirmed a member of the LDS church. The conversion will come through the Holy Ghost, but the ordinances will be done by the priesthood.

Why would one ever want to convert to Mormonism? Jesus Christ said "I am THE way, THE truth, THE way, no one comes to the Father except by Me." (John 14:6)

Joseph Smith rejected God's way and invented his own. I believe that most Mormons have been duped, others have seen it as a career opportunity and have consciously rejected the Truth.

This is my opinion based on 36 years of studying the Bible and comparing the Bible with man's religions.
