There are thousands of religions or subdivision of religions in existanse today. All claim to have the truth. Non can prove that they are the more correct one. If they could then all others religions would have to dissapear because no beleiver will willingly want to go to hell knowing that it can be proven that this other religion is the true religion.
Therefore following Gods will is really a matter of opinion. This is because of two reasons. Number one is already given. That is because there is no way to prove that one religion is more right than the other then all we have is an opinion. At best is an educated opinion but an opinion never the less. This difers from fact. Fact you can prove since there is evidense to back up your claim, beleif you can't. This is by definion of the words. Look them up if you have doubt.
Reson two extends from reason one. That is since all religion are base on a belief and belief is really an opinion then no religion can be more right than the other. Since there are so many denominations withing the same religion all differing in minor things then following Gods will is a matter of following your religion. So, following Gods will for Mike might be different for Jake because they attend different churches with different but equally valid interpretations. Just because someone does not practices the way you think they should, does not means that they are not following Gods will.
Another thing to think about is the assumption that people other than yurself are not following Gods will. I mean your answer excluded everybody except religious people so, we are only talking about religious folks, not non believes, prostitudes etc etc. This is by the constraints you gave to your questions. Your proposition states or assumes that people are not practicing as they should. Again, an opinion. How do I know is an opinion?! well, simple, you can't prove is not. In order to really know if a person practice as they should you would have to follow them and study them for at least X amount of time. It is imposible and even presomptious to say that you know who does and who doesn't. You want a test. Ok, go for a drive. As you drive along town look at every person. Can you trully say that just by looking at them you can tell if they are doing Gods will. Can you truly point out which people are going to hell and which one aren't just by looking at them? Nope you can't. You can't even guarantee your own salvation because you don't get to decide. You are not dead so, you still have a chance to slip up. Lets add another variable to the experiment. Do the same trip but now wear a blind fold. Can you then point out which people are not doing Gods will? The answer is No. You can't because you don't know them.
No to the hard or not hard part of your question. Well, that depends on each persons circumstances. IOf you take a boy who was raised from childhood in the church. Was given a certain training, was raised by a good loving family and never had to go through many of the problems and temptaions that life has to offer then yes, it is easy. Now take a drug addict who has no family, no support, no money not even an education and you can see that we have to measure this persons faith or faith atemp with a diffetrent ruler. It is easy to say no when the temptation is never there. It is another when you are addicted or don't know any better. Give the same test of using drugs to both individuals and we can easily see that is an unfair test. To me however, having the addict say no has more value than the boy who was raised in everything good town simply because the addict has to really force himself to say no while the good boy is simple. It takes no effort from the boy but it takes great effort and lots of strong will for the addict.

God's will for those who would follow Christ is found in John chapter 6.
Nowhere does it state that God's will for Christians is to keep the law; the commandments given to Israel through a covenant Christians were never a party to.
And have you not read, Christians are dead to sin, and dead to the law? Why are you trying to resurrect Christians to those things?

Because the flesh is weak. The will is weak. Of course, an entire culture -- they call it "atheism" -- is built around hedonist/satanist ideal of doing whatever you want, with no moral guide, no valid and convincingly articulated philosophical antecedents. If you buy into this fake, backwards-justified philosophy, all your moral life will be like the day you cut school and ran off to the mall until 3 PM. Now that's obviously appealing. But there's a consequence to living this life, which the Bible outlines. - - - - - - And whether you believe in the Bible or not, living your life recklessly and selfishly, basically burning your life up like a cigarette and throwing the butt away, means you are a worthless person in terms of the greater good. While you're not doing yourself any good, you're also not doing the planet and your fellow human beings any good.
I reject that.
Peace

Dont worry, those are the same questions that run through my mind..... I always feel like it is so hard to follow his commadments and not to sin.... but everyone makes mistakes, but as you make that mistake, you should just ask God for forgiveness so that way God really knows that you learned from your mistakes.... sinning is hard, because we all sin everyday and sometimes we dont even know it. but when we go up to heaven and talk to God, he will tell us every mistake that we made and we will understand that we arnt perfect, and that there is only one person who is perfect, and thats God.... I hope that i helped you a little bit....

Original Sin is a stain, there is not one who has not sinned, yes not one. Augustine. As long as we fail we can have reconciliation, this is the grace of mercy. I believe the Sacrament of Confession is one of the greatest.
Holiness is certainly a worthy goal to aspire to, as this is what leads to true happiness. As Aristotle pit's it, virtue leads to happiness.
When it get's hard and times of despair are at the door, kneel at the image of Mary and ask for the grace of love, you will receive it.

*This is accoding to the Bible so don`t attack me*
Adam and Eve (our forefathers) sinned, introducing sin into the human race. It is natural, and you will sin no matter how hard you try not to. I try to live a sinless life, but my human desires and thoughts sometimes overwhelm me.
Ever wondered why you never have to teach a small child to lie? It comes naturally.

I hear ya, Bro. I do believe it is because we are fighting our flesh constantly. Remember how Paul said, "What I will to do I do not do, and that which I do not will to do, I do. Who will deliver me from this body of death?"
I am so glad God remembers we are dust. But He also sees our desire to do what is right, even when we fail. Isn't He good?

The major religions were set up to make it impossible to follow all of their rules. That way you keep feeling a need to go to church and pray to their deity and fill their collection plates. Brilliant, actually.
