Its not banned. They are just talking about it.
Everything has its pros and cons. Germany is listed with France, Russia, and China as being religious persecuting countries by various religous watch sites.
Germany is getting flack from other european nations because they ban important people of religions (scientology is no ttheir only target). An old treaty forces other nations to honor the ban which they feel is not the original intention.
Also, americans might want to complain. If they do ban scientology it will give 6000 german scientologists the right to ask asylum in the US under the religious persecution statutes.

I dont like Tom Cruise not because he a member of the Church if Scientology but because hes a first rate idiot. Honestly he should just act and the rest of the time SHUT UP about things he just does not know anything about. In truth Toms intellect could be equally compared to the swiftness of a brick in water
