This is more of a plea to all those who do nothing but throw abuse (of any form) to homosexual, bisexual and transgendered people just because of who they are:
Please watch this clip - you don't need to post a comment - but JUST REALISE WHAT EFFECT YOU CAN HAVE ON A HUMAN BEING with feelings just like yours.

Thanks so much for posting this question - what a complete outrage. My heart goes out to Peter and those who were willing to offer him a helping hand - bless them for the generousity and kindess. What disgusts me the most is that the police act in such a completely sickening manner and are permitted to do so without anyone doing so much as batting an eyelid - the authorities are not better. Why on earth are such people put in positions of power and authority if they are going to abuse them? I just do not understand why so many remain so narrow minded - I can understand the Christian viewpoint, yes, but as a Christian myself and very proudly beisexual (with numerous homosexual friends who I love with all my heart), I still can not see where such narrow mindedness has it roots. It ashames me to be part of a world that is so unaccepting, and it worries me that one day I will most likely to bring children into a world that is so ignorant and discriminatory as to not allow human beings the most basic human rights. I mean, we cry out when we see poverty and hunger, we cry out when we see cruelty to animals, such as the slaughter of whales and dolphins, we cry out when people are needlessly killed in wars... my question to each of you: why is it we all manage to overlook the plight of the homosexual? If Peter can suffer such hardship simply because he has had the extreme courage and determination to chose a lifestyle that not only made him happy, but determined his identity (and how many of use do not have the courage to completely identify our beings?), then it is obvious many others also suffer. Cornwall authorities - you ought to be ashamed of yourselves - I only hope you turn around your ways or that your citizens have the courage to protest at this complete oversight of human rights. Let's fight this, because EVERY human being, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, sexuality and so forth DESERVES TO BE TREATED AS A HUMAN - after all, how would you feel if you were constantly bullied, taunted and humiliated because you chose to be an individual in an increasingly conformist society? I urge you to think before you act and say, and get in on this worthy cause: you can act to make a better future. And to those who are so ignorant among you, I sincerley hope you change your ways, because I doubt you'd be standing back were this the story of a child pyshically, psychologically, emotionally and / or sexually abused, for example. Funny how you can overlook a gay teen treated much the same as that poor child, but not the poor child himself.

I watched the fil about Peter and I felt sorry for him.
It deffinatly puts all those in Cornwall in a bad light. I can't see me helping that lot out at any time for what they did'nt do, but should have.
Their entirely useless.

the basis of your argument is fallacious. i don't have the time or the inclination to write a e book right here to describe to you why. you realize that judging somebody in line with a theory gadget that society quite often rejects as fallacious is different than judging somebody in line with race.

Think this has spurned some further controversy ?

Think the "film" is a melodramatic fabrication .....

British police are not generally homophobic (my experience on more than one occasion when I was an "emergent" and "obvious" t-girl who deserved to have the book thrown at her !) .... and the incidents portrayed would have had them up in court themselves for questioning !

Sure the protagonist had a "hard time", and I think being gay was the least of it .... there were other reasons ?

Just that a video like that draws incredulity rather than sympathy ? You need to present "hard facts" not a wishy- washy montage with pleasant choral music !
