Do miracles occur today?
If not, why not?
If so, what types?
Are their prophets on the earth today?
If not, why not?
Is God's true church on the earth today?
If not, why not?
Does being the same mean doing all the same things or simply being consistent in nature and character?
Parents treat different children differently and give them different instruction according to their different needs. If God does likewise, would he fail to be the same yesterday today and forever?
If miracles, prophets, gifts of the spirit, etc. occurred in biblical times, must they also occur today in order for God to be consistant and "The same?"

God is the same yesterday, today and forever. God's ways of dealing with his children vary according to the needs of the moment.

yes, God is the same always. Miracles and prophesies still occur today. I have seen them with my own eyes. Why do so many Christians not see or hear? Mostly because of unbelief. However, seeking the sign and not God is another possible reason. Honestly, i believe that we will be seeing more and more of God's glory when we seek Him. Espeically in the last days. I could encourage you to watch "It's supernatural" on youtube. Sid Roth is the host and I have been to a conference there. If you have more quesstions bout miracles and prophesies, i'd love to chat or e-mail. This is exciting stuff as long as God gets the glory.

Yes and No in complete uniqueness, as it's our perspectives and understandings that change.
Yes & (ALL types).
Yes.
Yes-within you.
It doesn't mean anything as you are always changing, yet remaining unique.
No - the 'Word of GOD' is LOVE, as it is now, always has been and ever shall be.
Prophets come and speak, people hear but do not listen. People look at miracles everyday, but do not see them.
Gifts of the Spirit are Given, but seldom received.
Let's Stop, making this "The Same."

God is the same.....but When Jesus came (and died and was resurrected) THINGS changed. The Apostle Paul wrote: Galatians 3:24-26. So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. (ESV) That just about sums it up.....but here is a website I found for you which goes into more detail regarding the 3 parts of Mosaic Law and why we are no longer bound by it. I hope it helps clear some things up.

You want a miracle and may never see one.
I have looked upon God all my life since I first heard of him and in the year 1993 a spirit appeared to me in a fog for the very first time.
I won't go into detailes about it, but I will tall you this. 100 million years ago our planet took a turn for the worst and man has survived through it all.
We are now in the year 2007 and history will repeat itself again and all on this earth will be destroyed by fire and 100 million years from now somebody might find your cell phone diggin in the alps and talk about early man!!!!! THINK ABOUT THAT.

Your reaching a far stretch in your analogy of God vs humans. I'm not a prophet nor a theologian but just remember "God put you on this earth and YOU make all your decisions in life having a free mind to think and a free will to act. What you do with your life can remain the same---yesterday/today & tomorrow. God does not think for you nor does He program your life to be what "you think is already planned for you". You put your own life on your hands. God gave you the ability to think for yourself and be as successfull as you want to be. good luck
