The police officer was only doing his job in this case. A car sitting in an empty parking lot at 2:00 am is very suspicous to a police officer. He was only making sure that everything was fine. I am sure that the parking lot is for customers of the grocery store only, at that time of night that should not have been any customers and the store and the parking lot would be closed. You did the right thing by leaving the parking lot and not giving him anymore attitue than you already did. A 24 hour parking lot is a much better idea, but you can still get into trouble then becuase most parking lots are for customers of that store only. So go into mcdonalds, get some fries, and sit in the car and eat them.

I just go to one of the employees and ask where it is at. I have noticed that some of the employees are more than willing to go right to the product that you are wanting. Then you have the ones that will tell you what isle it is on and point in that direction, I don't like that at all. I don't ever get mad, annoyed or aggravated when I can't find what I want. The only time that I get upset with an employee is when I want to know about some thing and they don't seem to have the time. When that happens, for the most part, I leave the store with out the product.

What comes to mind is that I'm going to stop shopping there once and for all....but sure enough, I'm back the very next week. This routine has been going on for 16 plus years now!

Things would be a lot easier if they would just stop changing things around....even the employees sometimes have a hard time helping me find what I'm looking for!

I think that some placement of items does not make sense. Similar items such as baking goods should be in the same place. To have to search for someone to tell a person where to look is sometimes futile. Perhaps more female input should be used to make it easier to find certain items. Generally, the more product a store carries, the more expensive it is.

Well, that rarely happens to me... generally it's my once a month outing unless I go to the doctor. Grocery shopping is a chore also, due to the crushed heal...I underwent 2 years of reconstructive surgery for that one! I'm generally in tears by the time I'm finished going once around the grocery store. So, if I don't find what I'm looking for I can find something similar and that just has to do! I try to make it as simple as I can!

When they remodeled the Walmarts in this town, I couldn't find anything, and some of it was gone completely. It just makes me irritated, and now I don't go there much at all. They have stopped carrying a lot of the stuff I used to get when I first started going there, so I have just found other places to shop where I can find what I want. When I can't find what I am looking for, I just leave and go where I can find it.And I usually don't go back.

The suppliers control the placement of a large percentage of the merchandise.

I never can walk into Kroger and go straight to the Borax. It's always in some obscure place behind a pole or on a top shelf or someplace else that requires a concentrated search.

I go ask a store employee or at the customer service desk. I've worked in grocery stores and I was always willing to help when needed. If the store doesn't carry the product many of them will consider ordering it, if you ask.

I look until I find the item. My husband on the other hand, calls me on the cell phone and says,"They moved everything around again and I can't find (whatever the item is) it." That is his excuse even if the item is right in front of his nose, so I mentally visualize the store aisles and talk to him about where everything is that the store is supposedly out of.
