If you saw a man, woman or child on the side of the road (and it is obvious that this person was not a scammer) would you stop to help them or pass them by?

Once again providing another fact that god exists and religion is not man made

(Quran 57:25)"And We sent down iron in which there lies great force and which has many uses for mankind"

Modern astronomical findings have disclosed that the metal of iron found in our world has come down from the giant stars in outer space.
Professor Armstrong works at NASA, where he is a well-known scientist here. .He stated that the scientists have come only recently to discover the relevant facts about that formation process. He said that the energy of the early solar system was not sufficient to produce elemental Iron. In calculating the energy required to form one atom of iron, even the energy of the entire solar system is not sufficient for that. That is why Professor Armstrong said that the scientists believe that iron is an extraterrestrial that was sent to earth and not formed therein.
So, could muhammad have known this 1400 years ago?
Even i didnt know that until recently....think about it

As far as I have read and heard people, who are against abortion, cannot accept that life is taken from a human being even if it is just a fetus.

The same group of people, at least most of them, seem to support sending young men and women to Irak and kill human beings there.

I cannot understand the difference between these two kinds of killing.

...and where the sports block is

...then why can't infinitely cleverer beings such as 'gods' teach their faithful flock where and how to pray? Without splitting into factions, churches, etc?

Surely they could have made that one small point easy to understand. You wouldn't send pupils to the science block to learn about modern languages?

And you wouldn't have kids arguing about which block was which, and why they should fight each other for it?

So why are faithful adults so confused when they claim to have the Perfect Word of God?*

*No offence meant. I really want to know what religionists think about this, because people get killed over this stuff. Non-religious people too. 'Collateral damage'.

Would you give your life to Christ like he did?
Saul was an angry man who did not like Christians at all. He yelled and screamed at them. He made nasty threats. He beat them and sometimes even killed them. Saul was definitely not a man anyone would want to try to befriend.

On this particular day, Saul was traveling to the city of Damascus. He wanted the leaders of the city to give him permission to hurt more Christians

From out of heaven, came the brightest light Saul had ever seen. The light surrounded Him. He tried to cover his eyes to shield the light, but it was so bright that it still hurt his eyes. He fell down on the ground trying to get away from it.

Then he heard a voice. It was unlike any voice he had ever heard, saying, "SAUL! SAUL! Why do you want to persecute me?"

Saul, not recognizing the voice, said, "Who are you?"

The answer came back, "I am Jesus."

The only Christian denomination I know of that is really positive and open minded with regards to Yoga are the Unitarians... and I'm not absolutely sure about them. Maybe you can clear me up with your opinion on it.

Thanks in advance.

I just read a pair of articles by Richard Cohen that were very enlightening. He basically says that if Romney and Kennedy had to give speeches about how their religion won't interfere with their abilities, and how their personal faith won't influence U.S. policy, then why doesn't Mike Huckabee, or anyone else who runs on their "faith" have to do the same? After all, this isn't an entirely Christian country. But under George W. Bush, we've had any number of policy decisions directly decided by his "Christian" views.

Mike Huckabee is making himself the "Christian candidate" in Iowa. Should he have to promise all of the Muslims and Jews and Pagans and Atheists in America that he won't impose his beliefs on them?

My parents have had a really rough year and cannot afford to buy ANY Christmas presents this year. They will be lucky if they can afford the mortgage this month. They of course will not accept any presents either because they are so embarrased. I am trying to figure out a way to spend Christmas with my mom and brother mainly without opening gifts or anything like that. Christmas is a HUGE deal to us and we have decorated the entire house with lights and gotten a tree already, but no presents will be under it. However my brother and I will buy eachother gifts and we will have to exchange with my extended family at some point as well. Any suggestions or advice on how to spend christmas day?

Im a junior in college. I have a good life. I went away to school about 2.5 hours away from home. I have a boyfriend of almost 2 years who is nice. He treats me well, he wouldn't ever cheat on me; we're studying abroad together next semester. He lives close to his family. I still feel like something is missing in life. There's part of me that wants to get out of small towns, and move to a big city. (My hometown had one stoplight, and college town is small.) But that would mean being farther away from my family (whom im really not super close to), but im just afraid if i took that step, i would regret it. I dont feel like i fit in with many people here. i dont want to end up living a lonely single life though either. I want to have a family someday, but im only 20. I still have time to think about it because I don't graduate from college for another year. I've always felt like there was something better out there. Is that being selifsh and naive?

24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

But what if at the end you turn out to be wrong all along? Wouldnt it be smart to prepare and cover yourselves just in case? What do you have to lose, right?

verses a Christian calling Christmas the day of Christs birth?

As a Christian, we should see both as lies. However, I think that we should be MORE offended by the lie around Christs birth because it is Christians that are perpetuating it. A lie that comes from someone who may not know better (to me) is less offensive than a lie from someone who claims to be enlightened. (Doesn't a lie from a person who is suppose to be credible on the subject make it more offensive?)

What's your thoughts?

A) If you go to Hell= You can't live out ANY fantasies you've had while you were alive because you'll constantly be tormented burning in those flames of Hell.

B) If you go to Heaven= You STILL can't live out ANY fantasies because God is the DEMANDING Being who demands that you worship and serve Him at the expense of living out ANY fantasies you had when you were alive and never get the chance to fulfill any personal, individual fantasies and desires, whatever they might be and if you don't want to go to Hell, you must NEVER stop serving Him and either way, you NEVER get to live out those many different fantasies you've ever had.

They are totally against religion(especially Christianity) so I think they should talk to all the employers out there and demand not to participate in the celebration of our Savior's birth. Also they shouldn't get holiday pay since to them it's not anything to celebrate. I bet their bosses might go for the extra help.

Ok there are many different explanations for why people love each other and the two main ones or most salient to me have somewhat evolutionary perspectives:
One is that love isn't real it is just a short term (2-3 years) infatuation that eventually goes away. This explanation also argues that love goes against Evolution because it limits your possiblity to mate with others and since human gestation last 9 months and weening takes a while would lower the possibility of producing a larger number of offspring.
Second says love came as a result of evolution in order to make sure a man and woman stay together long enough to produce offspring and raise them till they themselves can go keep the bloodlines going.
Which of these is true? Because they are at odds with each other? Or is that just like with religion people will use science to back up their own prejudices and personal beliefs about life? Or is there another better scientific argument for the existence or nonexistence of love.
