If you saw a man, woman or child on the side of the road (and it is obvious that this person was not a scammer) would you stop to help them or pass them by?

Yes, I would, anytime and anywhere. And guess what; in the few occasions I needed help because by car broke down or something similar, I got help from other people. The world is a nicer place than you may think. Unfortunately the media show us only what is going wrong. The word out there, in the the editorial rooms, is that good news is no news. That is sad.

I have and I would but not just anybody. They have to look like they are trust worthy and that they really need help. With cell phones now a days all people should need is to make a phone call and they should be able to take care of themselves. I would'nt make it a habit of picking people up though, that is just not wise.

Hi,

Yes, I would and have done so, Especially in the winter in the colder parts of North America where they are facing hypothermia. I'll take a chance under those circumstances.

Stop and help, but not if it was a man. sorry, I'm female, and you just never know. Not that I'm cold hearted, I'd want to help, but as a mother of 2, that would be a risk.

no but I might call 911 and call for a ride for them. FYI scammer's use women and children as decoys too.

I'd say, Hop In, as long as no one is wearing one of those Jason hockey masks.
