This is one of most debated questions in human history. While searching for truth, many people have struggled with this question. Literally thousands of churches, denominations, and religious organizations throughout the world and throughout history have laid claim to the title “the one true church of God.
Jesus didn’t intend to build his church upon Peter, a fallen human being. Rather, He announced He would build it upon this concept:
“You (Jesus) are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God”
This is the central truth upon which every person’s faith should be built. It reveals that salvation isn’t found in buildings or church names. Neither is it found in the traditions or the doctrines of man, or through good works or a good heart.
Salvation is found exclusively through Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.
