Known as Young Earth Creationists, the age of the earth is believed to follows the creation account and on studies from lineages of the Bible.

This is not solely a Christian idea. Some Jew and Muslim groups share this view point.

Although several people have contributed, James Ussher (1581-1656) is most well known for his work with the lineages.

Agreement or Disagreement aside, I can appreciate the faithfulness to a believe system.

I've also read that some reborns have been shown to be so limited in education outside the Bible that some don't know where Canada is, or that Europe even exists. Since we are spouting useless facts with no grounds for factual evidence here.

Yes, I can believe that you met someone with a particular thought. That doesn't mean it is true or that you have to believe it.

Easily.
On holiday this autumn, I was discussing with a pair of guides at the cave of the mounds, Wisconsin, on how they described the age of the cave and its features, and whether they ever had awkward moments with visitors.
The answer was: "regularly".

I find this amusing. Atheists are so appalled by people not understanding their belief (or unbelief), but they feel free to question and belittle everyone else's.

If you all *really* believe that we should all be free to practice our own faith, why do you try to tear other's beliefs down?
