I thought that Being Christian ment that you did on to others as you would have done on to you?
just because we don't follow your path dose not make it ok for you to disrespect our paths we still belive just in a different way.

A lie told about Christ by a Christian or a lie told about Christ by someone who does not profess a belief in Christ?

I asked something similar but I think people just didn't get what I was getting at. I shouldn't have mentioned Christmas as too many people have passionate feelings about it and it just muddled the answers.

Hanukkah was celebrated during the time of Jesus. As a Jew, Jesus would certainly have celebrated Hanukkah. He would have observed the Hanukkah festival according to the laws and customs of his community. The festival would have been celebrated, at least, with the lighting of a Hanukkah lamp (or lamps.

Yes, I'm asking again. Why? Trinitarians have a hard time understanding John 17:3 and 1 Corinthians 8:6. They agree theres only one true God, but the one true God is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

-Trinity Doctrine-

The Trinity consist of three persons, all being one God. The Father is not the Son, and the Son is not the Father and so on. So, by looking at these two verses, you have contradiction.

I have to explain this clearly because Trinitarians aren't getting the true understand of this verse.

In John 17:3, Jesus calls his Father the only true God, leaving out himself and the Holy Spirit.

In 1 Corinthians 8:6, the one God is the Father, not the the Son or the Holy Spirit.

So both of these verses says the one God is the Father, leaving out the other two persons.

So based on what they're saying, the one and only true God is the Father, not a trinity.

Example:
If three people were given the same title, but only one of them was called true, what does that tell you?

i had a confrontation at work today with another co-worker who works in the same office as I do. there are three people in the office and we rotate every week to cover for another co-worker in a different office when she is at lunch. last week was my week and i called out sick for two days, well today when i come back from my lunch, the girls who's week it was says, well, aren't you going over there? and i said going over where? and she said to cover for so and so's lunch and i said no, its your week. if she would have asked me, instead of telling me, my answer may have been different. was that wrong of me to say no?

It's interesting. It seem as if his campaign was dead in the water just a couple of weeks ago, now there is a decent chance he can pull off the Iowa caucus.

I'm not thrilled with the "religious right" continuing to have influence honestly. But I have a hunch with those other two weirdo's (baseball)Mitt Romney and Giuliani not taking control, there is an opening for them to have further impact.
