Could they all be wrong? Or could God merely be the word all the gospels wrote to describe the subject of belief in something that is not fully understood yet by many.

No, all religions are correct, since a "religion" is simply the beliefs embraced by a group of people. And to them, their religion is correct.

But I really like your last sentence. It's a very good summary of what most religions are. Very astute observation. Not sure how old you are, but you are already very wise.

In the discipline of logic, there is a fundamental law of noncontradiction. So, if "Jesus is the way" then, yes, all the other various religions are wrong. If you deny this conclusion, they you must deny the law of noncontradiction, in which case you've entered into irrationality and there is no point in continuing a discussion. People who make silly statements like "all religions are basically the same" or "they just call God by a different name" have not examined the claims of different religions.

Examine different religions and see which fits reality and experience best. If you have difficult questions, get satisfactory answers from competent authorities (i.e. someone who knows what they are talking about and have taken the time to study it thoroughly).

Dogmatic: characterized by or given to the expression of opinions very strongly or positively as if they were facts.

Anyone who claims Jesus is the only way, or that the Bible is more than just a book written by men, believes that opinions are facts. Each Religion is just really an opinion. By asking this question you have just demonstrated the fallibility of all religions... if one is correct, why are there other ones? When the actual fact is, no one can know the absolute truth, therefore all religions are wrong. And those who present opinion as fact are a menace to the advancement of civilization, but that's just my opinion.

Obviously each person believes their religion or lack of is the correct way. Unfortunately, unless you are going to lunch with God you aren't going to know for sure which belief is right. By the time you find out, it's going to be too late to do anything about it anyway. In the meantime, the best a person can do is keep practicing their religion, in hopes that it turns out to be right, or at least close enough to right to save them. I am Jewish, so I believe it to be the only correct religion, but I understand that I could be way off. But, I won't know for sure until I die and see what happens. At that point it won't matter as there wont be anything I can do about it. I hope that makes sense.

very fine question.. in this wide world there are many many religions and in religions many many Gods. Generally speaking a lafge number of muslims and second comes christians and 3rd comes Hindus. when there is a division as cathelic, protestant and like wise various divisions are there. They are guided by high cultured educated men called guru, or jesus or mohammed etc., Bhuddha born and established bhddhism.. so, all communities , religions, are good. no deviations. Goal is one. taking diversions. that is all. you say yesu never fails. Allah shows way.. bhuddha shows way how to live. Hindu Dharma shows way for peaceful and pleasant life.. in such a way all religions are good and going on their way. there is no wrong on particular religion.

i reckon if you properly subscribe to most major religions (esp. christianity, islam and judaism) you're not a true believer unless you also don't belive in the other gods. you can't be a christian but think that muslims believe in the same god as you- they've got it wrong!

that said, i personally believe that a statement becomes true or not based on the society in which you utter that statement. that means that different societies can each have their own notion of truth. that means there are as many gods, or as many answers to the question "what's it all about?" as there are different cultures. the weird thing is, given that, you end up in a bit of a mess because while i know there is another version of what constitues true, i can't accept that a truth which contradicts by own notion of what's true is in fact true.

Honestly, I think that there is no organized religion that is the right way.

I think ALL large, unorganized religion is just a way to get money, and make EVERYONE believe in what they believe.

I DO believe in god. Not any god specifically. I just think that i can love whoever 'god' is without having to follow rules that
I don't believe in

An d I don't think i will go to hell for not doing it someone else's way

I think 'god' loves me for who I am. And as long as I have some sort of belief in 'god'

its okay.

Did anybody from these other religions said the same as Jesus did?: "I am the way I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me".
Jesus declared this brave statement because He is son of God. He wasn't religious leader or founder of any religion. He is God himself.
You can either believe it or not to believe it. It is up to you. But you cannot understand it by your mind.

I have always figured it this way. As a Christian, if I am wrong, and all of my beliefs are wrong, than by all other standards, I lived a good life, worked hard, and have nothig to worry about. But if I am right, if my faith is correct, then everyone else has something to worry about. But I also am a firm believer that you need to "work out your OWN salvation (with fear and trembling before the Lord)" Phil: 2:12-16

It always interests me when folks ask a question like this as it proves that Jesus is False...Assuming there is a God would he/she/it need a middle man to be attainable? Isn't faith misplaced when praying to another to get to God? I submit that's a SIN of the highest order and that the basis of Christianity is totally wrong scripturally. PEACE!
