Now I agree criticism based on prejudices can be considered negative, but surely we should all be happy to read such articles and rejoice in them; only because we are able to exercise our rights to free speech. Watch the film ZARDOZ starring Sean Connery, and muse over what such a Utopian society would be like. Not much freedom of expression in Soviet Russia, or Saddam's Iraq. Oops there I go being racist!! The world ain't perfect and that's just the way I like it. My Grandfather didn't care too much for German or Japanese culture and beliefs, so remember the voice against the wind can only really be heard by those trying to hear it. Think on, that every ill judged concept of who's' culture is unacceptable directly leads to legislation to prevent the escalation of such ill founded beliefs; in free societies. So lets have more intolerance for without it good will never prevail.

Subject: racism?
Everyone is in a hurry to scream "racism" these days.

Now your being biggoted towards racists...if somone chooses for whatever reason to dislike a certain culture or race thats thier choice, i bet you have some deep inner feelings towards certain races/cultures you have clearly stated you dont like racists, but dont become voiciferous about it if you dont expect a debateable reply...let people debate and say what they think...Britain is a free country and we can choose to like or dislike whoever we want.

Racist are seriously sad and ignorant. We all live in the same skin. All the same underneath. We just have different cultures and belief systems. It's what makes the world go round.
Our skin colour serves a purpose and that's it.

It is better to light and candle than curse the darkness. Racism is a problem in America, but I think the flames are fanned by some people that we look to as "civil rights" leaders. When all of us as Americans let go of the "we" and "them" language then we can begin to do something.

I think everyone has some form of racism in them even if just a pinch. I think you are in denial if you disagree. People won't say it out loud because they don't intend to hurt people, but if you give people an anonymous voice they will use it. I think it's a good source of online therapy.

Would these 'racists' have different beliefs/opinions to yours by any chance? Racists are as entitled to voice their opinions as anyone else, this is a public forum. Perhaps anyone not wishing to risk reading differing opinions should confine themselves to sites where only like-minded people post. No-one forces anyone to read questions or answers they may disagree with.

This is probably the only forum where they (racists) can speak. Let them speak and prove their ignorance. Good luck. 2D
