I don't like it too much. I guess because I was a single parent and I was able to buy a lot of gifts for my daughter and that was painful for me. When I was young and my mother was divorced I saw her cry because she couldn't buy presents for my younger brothers. That was also painful. I feel bad for small children that don't get gifts for Christmas and it hurts me. So I associate Christmas with sadness. Good luck. 2D

Because they don't know how to celebrate it. They emphasize all the wrong things and forget about what it really is. A reminder of God's love for us, uninterrupted time with loved ones, and a time to be extra kind and helpful to those in need around us. When we focus on gifts, baking, over decorating, etc. of course it becomes a burden! We kill ourselves than are so exhausted by the time the day comes it's hard to enjoy it!

Because some people are not sheep who like getting manipulated into a festival of greed dressed up as something holy.

I think christmas is disgusting.

i have five kids and an average job, i feel under immense pressure not to ruin xmas for the kids by not getting them that present they dream of. however i refuse to borrow money for xmas but could do without the constant adverts giving my kids more expensive ideas.
